It was my last day at my job as I was moving to Italy. I am going to surprise Victoria my best friend. I can't wait to see her again.

Victoria is a successful business woman and a bad bitch, as she says.

I was moving to Italy because l was recruited to a project that lasted for 2 years. Victoria doesn't know I am going to Italy because I didn't tell her because I want to surprise her.

I am excited though nervous for the way she would react.

Time Skip

I landed in Italy, booked a hotel, took a shower and went straight to her office.

As I entered people smiled and nodded at me. I made my way to her office, when I didn't find her assistant on her desk, I decided to enter her office and exclaim surprise. As I was exclaiming l saw two tall figures sitting in front of Victoria, and her assistant, Alessa standing next to her.

The two tall figures turned to look at the source of the noise. When they turned my eyes locked with a pair of whiskey brown eyes which I thought I would never see in again

Victoria noticed the tension between us and went straight to me to ask me what was wrong. l just had to tell her the nickname we made up as silly teenagers for the man sitting on the opposite side of her office for an involuntary gasp to escape her lips.

It was the man that l fell in love and broke my heart. He cheated on me.

I could see the familiarity look on his eyes. At least he didn't forget about me.

A million questions ran on my mind. Why did he cheat on me? What was he doing here?

"Alessandra take Ms. Scott to my private lodge." Victoria commanded, in her bad ass business woman tone.

Before I could respond Alessa was already dragging me out of the room.

When Haden left Miss Jackson cleared her throat and went back to her seat.

My mind was still on the woman that had entered the room. The woman that taught me how to love and also the only woman that I will ever truly love.

Christian noticed who the woman that just entered was, and decided to talk for both of our businesses because I was not on the conditions of make any decisions.
