I woke up in a room with white walls. It smelled like alcohol and I could hear the sound of beeping machines around.
I turned my head to my left just to find a sleeping Nico, I turned to my right as I was inspecting the room just to kind Victoria sleeping on the medium sized couch.
Her arm covered with stitches, a bruise on her jaw and her arms slightly purple because of the ropes. Her skin was not very red because she has a really dark brown skin so it doesn't show her bruises as much.
I ran my hand through Nico's hair various times so that he could wake up. He finally woke up then took in his surroundings to figure out what was happening.
When everything seemed to get to place his eyes widened, as his face turned to one of shock and relief.
He quickly called the doctor and the doctor made a check up on me as Victoria and Nico waited sitting on the couch as they insisted on staying inside.
"How long have I been out for" I asked making myself comfortable in the bed.
"Like three hours." Victoria said then let out a yawn. "I am so tired." She muttered. "Papá, mamá, Gogo and Isa had to go back home." She added.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Something about the Russian mafia." She said. "It seems like they are going to make a peace deal." She said.
"That's a miracle." I said.
"Ahh-huh." She replied. "You hungry?" She asked.
"Yeah."
"What about chicken Alfredo?" She asked.
"That would be nice." I said.
"Is that not supposed to be my job." Nico asked.
"Well you still haven't asked, I don't want to kill her of hunger." Victoria said. "Okay, go to the kitchen and bring us: chicken Alfredo, a two bottles of water and two natural orange juice."
"I am not bringing anything for you." He said.
"Don't worry I can take care of myself. Just bring it for Ivy." Victoria said.
Nico went out to get the things ready. Victoria took her phone out and text someone.
"Who are you texting?" I asked her.
"Dona Fátima. She is preparing food for me." She said. "Nico and Christian probably hate me because of a little nothing I said three hours ago, but everything thing I said is actually true."
"What did you say?" I asked suspiciously.
"Well I basically told them to have more care on what they do or else one of us would end up dying because of their stupidity. But in a aggressive tone." She said then sighed. "I think I hit their pride." She said.
"It's all right. Come here." I told her and she laid on the bed beside me. "You were just trying to do the right thing, but you ended up hurting them. You got to talk to them in a softer to and say that they have more care. You were just worried something would happen to me, it's all right." I said as I hugged her.
"Thank you." She said and hugged me tightly. "You scared me so much."
"Now you know how it feels." I said.
"I didn't go missing because I wanted." She defended herself.
"Just shut up and hug me." I said and she carefully wrapped her arms around me.
