"Mmhm, you really need to floss more," Stu declared as he observed the state of Phil's teeth.

"Fuck that," He quickly rebounded as Stu let the patient seat back to its original position. "That's why I come here."

"Well, then you should come more than once every two years," Stu replied, moving the over head light away as he turned on his stool, grabbing a pen and writing a few notes.

"Why? So you could bleed me of all my money? Bleed Brooks of all hers?" Phil asked annoyed.

"I never charge you a dime, Phil," Stu sighed, continuing to take notes. "And Brooklyn always pays for her cleanings and so on, because she's nice."

Phil then looked around at his friends dentist office, his eyes then landing on the Nitrous Oxide tank. "Hey, how do I work the Nitrous?"

"Uh, you don't, actually," Stu responded, not turning around as Phil held the mouth piece of the tank to his own.

"Come on! Just one hit!" He begged, then put the equipment back down. Stu then turned back around.

"Fillings look pretty good. Any other problems?" Stu asked, continuing with the professional part of his job.

"Yeah, actually," Phil started his sentence. "You're getting married in Thailand," He said, making Stu roll his eyes back.

"Just—, For starters: That's flights for me and Brooks. That's 2 grand right there, then she has to explain to her Captain who doesn't like me at all that his best Sergeant needs 2 weeks off, which gives him another thing to hold over my head. Plus, it takes 5 days to get there," He continued, Stu trying to intervene but getting spoken over.

"It's a 16 hour flight," Stu said, a peak of annoyance in his voice. "And it's beautiful when you get there. And to be completely honest with you, Brooklyn's Captain is actually a nice guy, and 6-1 odds he'll sign her the 2 weeks off and not hold you against anything. If anything, he should be upset with me asking she takes the 2 weeks off."

"Whatever, it's a hassle," Phil brushed off, Stu nodding slightly.

"It is kinda far," He agreed. "Lauren's been there a week and she's still jet-lagged. But it's where her parents are from and it means a lot to them."

"Who gives a shit about her parents?" Phil asked annoyed, removing the dental sheet clipped around his neck that protected his nice teacher outfit from getting spilled on. "Her dad hates you."

"He doesn't hate me," Stu defended his almost father in law. "He's just never spoken to me, I think it's a cultural thing," He then said, almost exactly agreeing with Phil's statement.

"Why can't you just get married in Vegas like you did last time? So much easier!" Phil argued, and that's when Stu had enough of the complaining.

"Why can't you just listen to Brooklyn and be excited for me?" He asked, just as annoyed as Phil sighed and leaned back against a wall. "This is my wedding," Stu said with a slight laugh in his sentence. "How would you feel if I was acting like you for a choice I didn't like that you're making for your wedding when the time comes?"

Phil looked at his friend, and began considering that maybe he should just be supportive instead of upset about the travel details. "You're really happy, huh?"

"I really am," Stu agreed.

Phil sighed once again as he looked out the window. "Alright, I'm happy too," He caved, lightly shrugging his shoulders as he walked around the patient chair and setting a hand on Stu's shoulder.

"Thank you."

"It's gonna be fun," Phil smirked, patting Stu's shoulder one more time before beginning to leave, however Stu caught him before he got too far.
