A very speedy shower and some minor hair and makeup, Tracy helped Brooklyn as best as she could get her into her white bridesmaid's dress. Which covered some of her tattooed arms, a bit of her neck and her new leg tattoo.
Now standing at the front of the altar, the wedding music started as Lauren walked down the aisle with her father.
Her dress was rather simple but still very beautiful and elegant with the plain bodice and skirt and no sleeves or straps. Very classy for a girl like her.
Brooklyn and Tracy stood next to 2 of Lauren's other friends, while Phil, Doug, Teddy, and Alan stood next to Stu. Alan now fanning himself, which I wouldn't blame him for with the climate of Thailand.
Brooklyn then glanced at Phil, seeing him just staring at her with an adoring smile.
She looked back at Lauren and her father, smiling at the big smile spread across her lips.
Then she looked at Stu, and while he was slightly turned away from the bridal party, Brooklyn could tell by the curves on the corner of his mouth that he was smiling brightly as well.
The flower girls walking in front of Lauren and her dad soon were out of little flower petals, to which they then went to sit by their parents when they were at the end of the aisle.
Lauren and her dad then stood at the head of the altar, Stu shaking his almost father-in-law's hand, finally at peace and respect.
"Take good care of my daughter, Stu," Mr Srisai said, a light smile resting on his face as he set a hand on Stu's shoulder.
"I will," Stu promised, nodding.
Smiling at her 2 favourite men in the world, Lauren kissed her father's cheek before taking Stu's hand, stepping onto the altar. "I'm sorry we almost killed everyone with the boat," Stu apologized to his almost wife.
"Just happy you're here," She responded at a whisper, both of them now in front of the minister.
"And don't worry about the tattoo. I'm gonna have it lasered as soon as we're home in L.A.," Stu informed her, and she looked at the ink on his face.
"It's okay. I can get used to it," Lauren shrugged with a smile.
Stu sniffed quietly. "Really?"
She nodded, but pursed her lips as she looked at him once more.
Tilting her head, she began to think about her words, and chose to regret them for the moment. "But for now, let's switch sides?"
"Yeah, okay," Stu nodded, and they reversed their positions in front of the minister, Stu now closer to the bridesmaids while Lauren was closer to the groomsmen.
"Dear family and friends," The minister began. "On behalf of Stu and Lauren, I welcome you all to this wedding celebration."
Brooklyn smiled at her friends, a few tears welling in her eyes as she watched 2 of her bestest friends go through the process of getting ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
A tear fell as they shared a kiss to seal the deal, the guests and bridal party clapping in congratulations.
Brooklyn kept thinking about if she would ever get to experience marriage, the man she'd marry being Phil.
Up until 4 years ago, she didn't think she'd ever get married, but that night in Vegas changed everything.
The ceremony soon ended and now the reception had begun as everyone piled onto the beach where lanterns were ready to be sent off.
Lauren and Stu let theirs off first as they were the couple of the hour. Once theirs began floating, everyone else let theirs go as well.
It was beautiful watching the sky glitter with the artificial light as the sun went down, to which Brooklyn loosely wrapped an arm around Phil as he wrapped an arm of his own around Brooklyn's shoulders.
