"Jimin, I -" I couldn't say anything. My heart trembled at his confession. It could be a lie if I didn't feel anything for him. But my life isn't normal like others and accepting Jimin will put everyone of my loved ones on the risk. I can't afford that. I have been through that before and I have lost my family once.

I can't lose this family too. "I can't trust you" Jimin face lost all colour and I know he is hurt by my rejection. "Are you saying you don't like me?" he asked me upset. "I can't do this. We can't do this" my voice trembled even though I didn't understand why. "Can't or won't?" his grip on my hands tightened. "Both" I told him honestly. "I shouldn't have come here"

I got up and walked towards the door. "I will not let you walk away like this" within a second I was scooped off from the ground and was in Jimin arms. "What the hell are you doing?" I screamed at him but he ignored me and continued walking. "I can't let you go like this. I can't lose you again" he mumbled the last part but I still heard him. "I will tie you to bed and keep you here even if I have to"

"You can't do that Jimin" I hit his chest to let me go but he wasn't budging. "I will do worse than that" he throwed me on the bed and it took me a while to adjust on the bouncy bed. "You are injured and I am not in the mood fight with you right now" I know I can kick his ass if I want to but the fact he is injured is making me stop.

"Tell me honestly you really don't want me?" he sat on the bed beside me. "It's not that" I breathed out thinking how to frame my words. "You have been trained your whole life with Sixers. We are in opposite teams. Our agenda is to steal each other deals and kill. How can I be ok with dating you?" he hummed looking at the empty space on bed. "So you think I am faking it to trap you?"

"You don't trust me" I smiled at him lightly. "Trust has to be earned Jimin. I believe both of us didn't do much to make each other trust us" I got up tired of this conversation. "I trusted you the day you visited me in the dark room. I believed in nine year old girl who said she will become my family and never leave me again"

"I held on to that promise and endured all the torture just to see a glimpse of that girl again" he got up and pulled me in his arms. "There were times I wanted to give up on my life but the thought of seeing you again made me endure it" he said squeezing even more in his embrace. "Jimin"

"Shh" he leaned his head on mine. "It's ok if you don't trust me. I understand" he released me from the hug. "You said trust has to be earned right?" he walked back smiling at me. "Then I will earn your trust" he opened the bedroom gesturing me to leave. I couldn't say anything to him and quietly left him.

I made my way to Hoseok house as Jungkook said to come there. He said we can leave together to home after it.

"Y/n" both of them exclaimed with a surprised tone as soon as I entered the house. "Finally you graced us with your presence" Jungkook bowed dramatically making me chuckle. "I missed you" Hoseok said hugging her from left side. "Are you drunk?" she couldn't help but ask them at their weird behaviour.

"No, but why are you looking all red? Do you have fever?" Jungkook checked my forehead and I pushed him away. "No I don't" but I remembered the events happened at Jimin place and my face reddened more. "You are getting redder" Hoseok poked my cheek making me glare at him. "Yes, I am alright"

"What were you both doing?" living room was a mess with crumbles of food and empty food boxes. "I lied to hyung we are out for night and I stayed here with him" Jungkook pointed to Hoseok who was busy gulping a sprite. "We played games whole night. Do you know he has cool gaming room?" Jungkook was rambling about the gaming room and I ignored him.

"Will you guys clean up now?" they realized how serious I am and started cleaning. I sat on the sofa scrolling on the phone while they cleaned the house. I was too tired to help them and they said they will do it too. I couldn't help but think about Jimin words. What if he is serious about it?

I know how horrible that place is and living there for fifteen years is too much. I can't even imagine what Jimin had to go through there. "Y/n?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Hoseok. "Jungkook got something on Namjoon" he held my hand and dragged me to his computer room. "What is it?"

"He went to visit someone yesterday and that person is related to Derek" he told him catching me off guard. "What?" he signalled me to look at the camera and I did. "I don't know any of them" he hummed typing something else. "As per records Namjoon is registered as their son" two pictures of a couple. "But his real mother isn't her. I checked all data and found he was adopted by his parents in 2008"

"After the fire accident" he nodded confirming my thoughts. "Before that he was registered as other couple son. It was hard to get the details but I found it" my face paled seeing the names of the people. "Derek"

"He is Derek Chastain biological son" I couldn't believe it. Why would his own son be part of accident and why is he looking for him now? "I think we are missing something in his story" pieces of puzzle aren't matching perfectly. There is something else we don't know about. "I need you to do something for me to confirm it"

"What?" he clicked few more things and image appeared on the big screen. "This is Derek office in New York. As far as I am aware he keeps all his confidential things in the locker in his office" he must have cracked his office security. "You want me to steal it"

"It won't be easy but you have to do it" before I can agree we heard another voice. "I have another idea" we both looked at Jungkook. "Let's confront Namjoon first" he folded his arms and looked at seriously. "You think he would agree to that?"

"He won't but we are specialized in making people talk" he gave me a wicked grin and I know whatever Jungkook planned isn't a good thing.

That is how our next mission started.
