Love
Most sacred and scariest thing in the world. People think having loved ones is really required but they don't realize it could break people beyond control too. We humans are capable of being strong and independent but when we like or love someone we depend on them. We can't be strong when someone is caring for us.
Whenever someone asks us if it hurts we want to tell them our pain, when someone consoles us not to cry then we will want to cry and when someone cares for you then you want to depend on them. So if you want to be stronger and independent then you have to stop having caring people.
I was scared of the same thing when I met Jimin. He became too attached to me that I started depending on him emotionally. The moment he showed his reality it broke me. I guess I shouldn't have trusted him.
"Y/n" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the door. "Dad is calling you" Jungkook told me through closed bathroom door. "I will be there in five minutes" I turned off the shower and got out wrapping towel around me. I quickly got ready and went downstairs to meet them.
"Good morning" I greeted them grabbing cereal box from the cabinet. We haven't spoken after the conversation yesterday. Jin hyung and uncle thought I would need some time to digest this so they left me alone. "Y/n, Jin and I were talking about Derek" I placed the box on the table before turning to him. "He is coming to New York this week"
"What about Cole?" I want to find him first and rip him in to pieces for killing my mother. "We didn't find him yet but you said you have friend who is looking for him right?" I glanced at Jungkook who nodded his head assuring me. "Yeah but he didn't find anything yet" before we can say something my phone rang indicating a call.
"Speaking of him" I answered the call. "Y/n, I think I have a lead on Cole" my ears perked at his words. "Where is he?"
"Italy but I am not completely sure" I can hear background noises of keys from phone. "One more thing, Jungkook sent me a video of your mother incident yesterday. I have a hunch this is the same group involved in Jude murder too. "Namjoon sent me few pictures which Yoongi got while investigating in Fiji. We can confirm them if we get their fingerprints"
"I will on it then" I spoke for few more minutes before disconnecting the call. "Hoseok found Cole. He is in Italy also they found leads on the gang which killed my mother" I explained our conversation to them. "So you want to get those people finger prints?" Uncle asked me to which I nodded my head. "Jungkook will do it"
"But he is injured" I can't risk his safety when he is not completely healed. "Don't worry he can manage" Jungkook hummed in agreement to his father words. Two days back he didn't let Jungkook walk out of the house due to injury but now he is asking him to go on a mission. "I will go and check with him on other updates"
Jin hyung and uncle said they will find out more about Derek arrival so Jungkook and I decided to visit Hoseok.
"Morning" Hoseok greeted us cheerfully when he opened the door. "How is your wound?" Jungkook scowls at Hoseok. "Better" we both walk in to his work room. "These are the details I want you to check for me" he handed us the picture of few men. "I have a doubt they were involved in the fire accident. I need you to find them and get their fingerprints if possible" Jungkook raised his eyebrow at him.
"Will they give me?" he shrugged his shoulders. "Call me if you need help" we are not sure about it as it has been nearly fifteen years but even if one person matches too then we can get information from them. Jungkook left sating he will update us about it leaving me alone with Hoseok.
"Well now that we got lean on it" I mumbled to myself. "Namjoon asked me to remove the details from database" normally all the evidence found will be kept in evidence room if it is physical and soft copy will be kept in database for future reference. "Jin hyung will take care of it" I messaged Jin hyung about the same and he said he will take care of it.
"What do you have for me?" Hoseok gave me a look. "You are one scary girl. You know that" I grin and click my tongue. "You know me" Hoseok walks inside and come back with a box. "I want you to check Derek place" I don't think that would be good idea but we only have two weeks do this now. "I heard he is coming back in two weeks"
"So did I" he argued me to open the box. "This has all the pictures of cameras in his house and routes lead to there. I think it would be enough for you to get in" I placed them back in the box and closed it. "I will look at it later"
"Where is Meera?" she isn't anywhere since I came back home. "Taehyung asked her help with something so she went out in the morning" he grumbled which made confused. "Isn't it dangerous for her to roam freely now?" he rolled his eyes at my question. "She said she can handle herself" there is something going on between these two. I am not sure what it is though. "Ok" I decided to let it go as I know Meera has been on her own since childhood. I am sure she can handle herself. If she gets in to trouble then we all here to help her.
"I will start working on it right away then" I told him referring to the box of Derek place. "Do you want to go to Italy?" my hands fisted in anger when he mentioned topic related to Cole. "If he gets a tip-off that we are looking for him then he might run away again"
"But we might not be able to do this if Derek comes back" I said. "We still have two weeks time. I am sure we can work out both of these in this time" I nodded my head thinking about it. "Let me think about it then" I thanked him and decided to leave for now.
Jude murder and Meera identity are handled by Namjoon. He said he will make sure to close the case without dragging any of us in to it. Meanwhile Jin hyung and Jungkook are trying to gather information on my mother incident. Only two things left are finding Cole and gathering evidence about Derek. It wouldn't be that hard considering we are all working together.
If only I knew how this two things can turn mylife up and down in next few weeks.
