"Y/n, have you prepared everything?" Jin hyung asked as he walked inside the living room. "Yes hyung" I was wearing my black jacket. Jungkook left yesterday to Vermont and I studied the whole situation with Jin hyung last night after he left. Namjoon seemed to be closed off person. He doesn't have much friends and he keep himself to him.
The only places he visits apart from work are library, park and his house. We decided our best shot is to raid his house when he attends office. Normally he has to review work and assign teams so it will take him nearly three hours. So we decided to check at that time.
I dressed myself in black pants and black t shirt. This is like a uniform to me. I got ready and placed mask on my face. Today I am going to drive my bike to his place. As I couldn't be seen I decided to go from the back door which leads to the forest trail. No one go to that side as it is surrounded with dark trees.
I decided to use that route and I can drive farthest if I go with bike instead of car. "Be careful and update me as soon as you get in" he handed me gloves. "Remember I can't see you until you reach his house. Our connection might not be stable too" I know due to the forest area we might not be able to reach other.
I got on my bike and drove towards his house. My face was completely covered with mask and helmet. No one would be able to tell if I am a man or woman by my bike. This is what I normally aim to do though. I reached his house area and parked my bike. I slowly walked towards his back door and got in.
To my relief he wasn't home and all the curtains were drawn too. "I got in" I informed Jin hyung and got to his bedroom which I already know from last visit. This is where I injured Jimin last time we were here. "I am sharing the passwords to his locker" I heard hyung say and I walked in.
I saw a small vault in his room which was placed in the closet. I quickly opened it and unlocked it using the password he shared. Multiple documents were kept in the vault. I scanned them with my phone before placing them back in the vault.
"Did you find anything?" I walked around his room searching for some kind of secret door or box. "Bunch of documents but I am not sure what they are" I answered him still searching. I am sure I can find something that will give me a chance to learn about his and Derek relation. I was scrolling through his files when something caught my eye.
Ring
More like signet ring.
I have seen somewhere. I grabbed the ring in my hand and examined it closely.
"Y/n, Namjoon is back" my eyes widened and I dropped the ring on the ground in surprise. "Place everything back in its place" I quickly cleared all the mess and kept his vault in its place. I wanted to bring the ring with me so I tried searching for it. It fell on the ground and rolled under the table. "Leave now"
"I need to take one more thing" I told him and tried to reach for the ring but I couldn't grasp it. "You don't have much time Y/n" I cursed myself when I heard the front door being unlocked. I decided to abandon the ring and escape. Just I walked out of the back door Namjoon walked inside home. I ran when I realized he heard the door bang.
"Hyung I think he heard me" I told Jin hyung and heard him curse. "Escape from there now" I hummed in reply and turned off the ear piece.
"Who are you?" I heard him scream from behind and I increased my pace. "Stop running" I realized he is too close to me and I can't escape with him on my trail. So I changed my direction and ran in to the deep forest. "You can't escape from me" I stopped running and placed mask properly on my face. "I wasn't planning to"
I turned around and smirked at him. "Hello Hazel" he smirked at me thinking he already won. "Good to see you again Mr. Cop" I smiled teasingly making him growl. "I will teach you a lesson for last time" we both circled each other slowly. "Here I thought you learned your lesson" I mocked making him angry. We both started kicking and punching each other but I managed to hit his face between the punches.
"I got to agree you are a one tough cookie" he said and tried to distract me. He tried punching my face but I ducked both the punches. But I couldn't ignore the third punch as he hit directly in my face. I tried to hit him but he blocked both of my hands with his arm and tried to punch but I dodged it. I hit his face twice and kicked his feet. He tried to dodge it but I beat him to it. I have to admit he is stronger than lot of people I faced. He grabbed both my arms and tried to head butt me but I twisted his hands and kicked his knee making him fall on the ground.
He groaned in pain and I realized he twisted his leg. "I guess you couldn't crack me then" I kneeled in front of him. "Don't let your guard down so soon" within a second he grabbed my neck and rolled around making me lay beneath him. "I guess you could use some training"
"Get off of me" I hit his back and got up. He couldn't manage to get up as his leg wasn't supporting him. He tried to stop me but I decided to leave. He is too smart and playing around with him will not give me any benefit. I was in a hurry that I didn't realize I dropped my necklace there.
I reached my bike and drove to home without stopping anywhere. Once I reached Jin hyung bombarded me with questions. "Let me breath hyung" I huffed in annoyance. I throwed my mask away and took off my jacket.
"What happened Y/n? Did he see your face?" Jin hyung asked me calmly once I relaxed. "He didn't see my face. He tried to stop me but I beat his ass" I smirked remembering our fight. "Here are copies of the files I found in his locker" I passed him my phone and waited while he downloaded the files to the system.
"I will work on them" he returned my phone and started working on them. "Any update from Jungkook?" I plopped on the couch beside him and closed my eyes. "Yes, he is doing fine and everything is going smoothly" I opened my eyes when I heard an alarm. It is a code for us to know if any of our members are in danger. "What is it?"
"We got it from Fiji" Taira, Jude and Meera are in Fiji now. "Is it Taira?" he seemed tensed too as he typed furiously on the system. "I am not sure yet"
"I guess you need to go there as soon as possible"
At the same time I received a message from Jimin which made me shocked.
