Third person pov

Snow piled up on the roads not living a single place to be visible. Green leaves were covered with white snow and it looked like Christmas even though festival still had some time. "Jimin?" Jimin was looking out of the window calmly without saying anything.

His mind wasn't here. It was running faster than person in marathon and he couldn't stop thinking. "Are you alright?" his friend was worried when Jimin didn't answer him. Normally Jimin is someone who is very composed and calculative. He always makes time for his friend even though he is busy.

"Yeah" Jimin answered quietly not looking up. "Will you tell me what happened?" he sighed sitting on the chair which was in the balcony. If Jimin doesn't turn to look at him then he can stand in front of him right? "Nothing" Jimin walked inside making his friend follow him like a puppy. "Please"

"Y/n visited yesterday." Jimin started to tell him everything after few minutes. "So she didn't believe you" he nodded his head making him frown. "But you said she was really cute and trustworthy when you were kids" Jimin glanced at him. "People change with time. When you go through pain you become completely different person"

"Not everyone though" his friend didn't want to agree with him. Jimin isn't like that. Even though he has been through the worst pain he still cares for his friend and believes in Y/n. He knows Y/n is his rival and still he confessed to her then why can't she trust him? He doesn't like Y/n so much now since she put his friend in pain.

"You can't blame her. She has the right to be scared when her own father ruined her life" Jimin said shutting up his friend. "What do you plan to do then?" he didn't want to argue and spoil his mood now. "She said trust has to be earned and I will show her how right I am about my feelings for her"

"What if Derek find out about it?" Jimin jaw clenched at the mention of his name. "After all it was a direct order from Derek for you to bring Hazel to him" his friend was right. After his training he has been sent on various missions but he never spoke to Derek directly before.

But few months back he got a call that he is needed in Germany. When he went there he was ordered to meet Derek and Derek assigned him a task of bringing Hazel alive to him. He was curious as to why he wants Hazel but he couldn't ask him. He did his own research and learned that Y/n is Hazel. But he wasn't clear about the connection between Y/n and Derek.

His best guess was she is the best of their team and he wants her back. If it is true he would die before letting Y/n go back there. She has enough trauma of that place and he can't let her go through it again. "Do you love her Jimin?" Jimin chuckled without humor. "Do I even know the meaning of Love?"

"I am not capable of loving someone. I am too cruel to think about it" his friend patted his shoulder. "What you feel for her is called love Jimin" Jimin looked at his friend in surprise. "I won't force you to think about it cause when the times comes you will realize your feelings on your own" he smiled clapping his hands. "For now let's eat"

Jimin chuckled at his friend mood swings. He followed his friend to kitchen and saw him digging in to the remaining food from fridge. Since he already ate with Y/n he didn't eat but just watched him. "Ah right" his friend placed the bowl on the table and opened his phone. "I forgot to tell you we found few details about Namjoon"

"He visited his family last week and I got all the information from the data base about him" when Jimin learned Namjoon took leave to visit his family he asked his friend to dig in to it. Since he works in the department it wasn't big task for him to get the details. "So you meant to say they are not his biological parents"

"No and I ran his mother name which I got from the grave he visited" he scrolled through his phone gallery. "His mother was married to Derek" he showed him the picture of Derek and his mother with a young kid. "You mean he is Derek son?" he nodded his head making Jimin stunned. "Does Derek know he has a son?"

His friend shrugged as in saying he doesn't know. It isn't hard to dig in to Namjoon details for Derek but if he hasn't approached him that could mean different things. One he doesn't care about his son and didn't bother to find him. Two he might not be his son. Three he could be working with Namjoon already.

"I want you to do something for me" Jimin explained his plan to his friend and they agreed on it.

Y/N:

"What's bothering you?" Jungkook jumped in to the bed beside me. "You weren't yourself since you came back" Jin hyung was working in his room and we decided to hang out in my room. We had our training session once we returned from Hoseok place and got fresh up. We decided to watch movie in my room while eating.

We made popcorn, brought chips and ordered pizza. We made pillow bed on the floor and laid on it watching the movie. "I visited Jimin yesterday" he already knows this from Hoseok. So I told him everything that happened. "Do I have to kill him?" I laughed out loud at his expression. "I mean I can kill him if he forced you"

"No he didn't and you don't have to kill him" I told him pulling him down to sit. "So you like him" I don't know if I like him or just attracted to him. I haven't been this way with anyone else before Jimin. He is the first person to make me feel this way. "Oh my god, you actually love him" my eyes widened at Jungkook words. "I don't"

"Your eyes don't agree with your words" he rolled his eyes grabbing popcorn from the board. "Anyhow what do you plan to do then?" I slumped my shoulders and looked at him. "I don't know" I bit my lip looking at Jungkook. "Should I trust him?"

"Do you want to trust him?" I glared at Jungkook for turning my question against me. "I don't mind if you tell him about us all if you trust him. Even if he backstabs us I will kill him later but the point is what you want to do" that is the problem. I don't know what I want. I want to believe him but something in me tells me not to believe him.

"I am so confused" I grabbed my hair in my fists in frustration. "Give it some time. You will find it out" he pulled me by my hand and forced me to lay down with him. "Let's enjoy our time for a while. We might not see each other for weeks later"

Jungkook is going on mission to Vermont to find more about Namjoon. As per his plan he informed Jin hyung about his trip and how he is related to Derek. Jin hyung spoke with his father and told him to go to Vermont where he will meet his family and find out about him. Jungkook is going there as tourist and will be staying in house beside Callen's.

He already had all the fake identity and back story prepared for him. Tomorrow morning he will be leaving for Vermont. While I have to get in to Namjoon house and get any clues about his past as per Jin hyung orders. Then I have to find way to steal Derek personal info as per Hoseok order.

"Be careful out there. Don't get your ass beaten" I teased Jungkook making him huff. "You too. Going to Derek place is too risky and I don't want you to get caught" I hummed in reply and promised him I won't get caught.

What I didn't know was next few weeks will prove to be toughest for us. If I have known I wouldn't have agreed to this plan.

I wanted to show both lead characters are equally capable in all aspects. They will discover secrets at same time except one thing. 

Other characters also hold important roles and they will get involved more as plot develops.
