Lucy's POV

I think Gray and Loke are at Natsu's place today. It's so noisy and Natsu didn't went home together with me today. I'm here in my favorite resting area, beside the veranda and an open glass door. I can hear them from here while reading my new book that I brought today.

Boys are really noisy when they are together. I heard a sliding sound and it's coming from next door. Maybe Natsu opens his door to the veranda too.

"Natsu I think you should stop with the bet now. Loke and I take it back, I kinda slip and give Lucy a hint about the bet...I think." I heard Gray said. Ohhh...so now they are talking about that stupid bet. Well my ears are wide open top hear your side Natsu.

"Bet? Ah the bet we made about the sports car. I'm sorry but I completely forget about it." Natsu said. What? He forgets about the bet?

"Do you mean that you are not doing all that stuff to get close to Lucy because of the bet?" Gray said and I can hear from his voice that he is surprised also

"You can say that. During our first date, I'm not thinking of the bet anymore. Maybe when the time I change my schedule. But I kinda like hanging out with Lucy now. She's nice bro, you just need to know her better." Natsu said. I don't know if I will be happy or what

"Natsu! Get a grip! That's Lucy Heartfilia you are talking about!" Gray said. I'm really getting pissed on you Fullbuster!

"Yeah I know."

"Did you just hear what I told you earlier?! I think I kinda given her a hint about the bet."

"So? I'm not doing anything for the bet now. Let's just forget everything because I kinda have my interest on her. I never imagine that she can be that person I never expected her to be."

"I don't know about you anymore. Just don't come running on me crying in the end."

"And why would I do that?"

"Because Lucy Heartfilia is playing on you Natsu!" Alright I'm sick of this things. I get up from my chair and close my book and went out the veranda.

I look at them and stretch my arms in the air.

"Did I just heard my name?" I said and holds my waist

"Lucy?!" Gray said in surprised

"How long have you been there?" Natsu asked

"Uhhh...Just now." I said

"Did you hear what we are talking about?" Natsu asked

"No. Why is there something I'm not supposed to know?" I said

"No nothing." Natsu said

"I'm going inside now." Gray said

"Bye Gray!" I said and waved my hand

"So...Gray is there." I said

"Ah yeah they are just stopping by with Loke and Jellal." Natsu said

"I see...So what is it about me?" I asked

"Huh? About you?"

"Don't play dumb Dragneel..." I mumble

"Did you say something?"

"Ah no. I just want to say good night to you. Have you eaten yet?"

"Yes. Thank you for asking. You have you eaten your dinner?"

"I was just about to. Good night Natsu. See you tomorrow." I said

"Good night. See you tomorrow." He said and I went inside and close the glass door.

"What should I have for dinner?"

"Lucy can I court you?"

"I'm sorry but I'm not accepting suitors this days." I said to the guy who approach me in my locker.

"That was smooth?" Cana said

"Why? I just want to get rid of him fast that's all." I said

"So how are thing between you and Natsu?" Erza asked

"Actually I don't have any idea on making a progress." I said

"If Natsu have his eyes on you, why don't you make him jealous to test if he's lying or not." Cana said

"And where did that come from?" I asked

"From Mira-san."

"I should have guess." I said and we all chuckle

"Luce!" someone yelled and no one calls me by that name except...

"Natsu, what's up?" I asked with a smile

"Let's go to class together." He said

"Ohhh.... Looks like someone is clingy today."

"GO on take her." Erza said

"Erza!" I said and before I know it Natsu is right beside me

"Are you free today Lucy after class?" Natsu asked without looking at me

"Why?" I asked

"Ah nothing I just want to ask you out. I heard there's a new ice cream shop down town." He said

"Oh I loved to but I can't." I said

"Eh why not?" he said I disappointment look

"I have a date later."

"What?! With who?" He yelled

"You don't have to know who it is. You are not my boyfriend or anything right?" I said and left him standing there dumbfounded.

"Then can I be your boyfriend?!" he yelled that echoed throughout the hallway
