Chapter 8

Lucy's POV

It's our Math Class and as always Natsu is here beside me but he is not sleeping today. He keeps on looking at me when he had a chance. It keeps on going until the bell rung. I went out the classroom with Erza and he is following me on my other side. I keep on ignoring his call. We went to our lockers and I take my things for my next class. Natsu lean on the side of my locker and just stares at me with that grin of his. I glare at him and close the door of my locker.

"Lucy. Why are you ignoring Natsu?" Erza whisper

"Keep it cool sister. I got this under control." I said and went to my next class Biology. "Bye Erza, see you in the cafeteria later." I said and bid her goodbye. It's a bummer that I don't have any friends in this class. I know someone but I don't really talk to them. For example Natsu and Jellal. Jellal is my seatmate, he is seated behind me.

"Jellal what are you doing here?" Natsu asked Jellal and seated beside me.

"Didn't I tell you that I'm on this class?" he said.

"I forgot." Natsu said

"Looks like he's been tailing you always huh Lucy." Jellal said

I turn around to look at him. "Does it concern you?" I said coldly. I glare at him even more and I noticed that Natsu is looking at us. I turn around and just bring out my phone. I hate that guy.

"Woah! Do you guys know each other?" Natsu asked

"Yeah. She's my—"

"Say it and I'll rip your mouth shut." I said to him and then the teacher comes in. I can't concentrate because of these two fools around me.

"Lucy." Natsu called as I walk down the hallway

"Lucy, why are you not talking to me?" he said again

"Hey!" he said and I am getting irritated because of it

"You talk to Jellal but you are not talking to me? Hey, since when did you know Jellal?"

"Do you really want to know?" I whisper on his ear after I grab his tie.

"Yeah, can I?"

"Well, let's just say that I knew him before you. And don't act like we are friends." I said and let go of him

"What? What are you talking about? Didn't we just have our date? Isn't that going anywhere?"

"Oh! So you have the guts to say something like that?" I said in cross arms

"Huh? What are you talking about Luce?" he said in a confused reaction on his face

"You only date a girl once and you dump them after right? Well not me. I'm dumping you before you can even dump me. No one dumps Lucy Heartfilia. Do you remember what you did to Lisanna? Well you can say that this is a revenge for her." I said

"What?! Lucy, you're different. I'm not planning on dumping you. And in the case of Lisanna, I just agreed for a date and not to be her boyfriend." He defended

"Well I'm sorry but you're dump. Bye King!" I said and bid him goodbye while waving my hand.

3....2....1...*snap* "Luce! Wait!" Bingo! I smile and stop on my tracks.

"No one dumps Natsu Dragneel also and remember this you will be mine!" he yelled and all the students around us heard it. Just like as planned, no one can resist the Heartfilia charm and he was caught in my trap again. You're so smart Lucy!

"Bring it Dragneel." I said as I tilted my head to look at him

"Lucy. Can I talk to you? It's very important."

"What do you want Jellal?" I said and yawned

"Just come with me."

"Hey! Where are you taking me?" I said and he grabs my wrist and drags me at the back of the school building.

"Lucy, it's about Natsu." Jellal said

"What about him?" crossing my arms I raised an eyebrow.

"Be careful of him. He is just playing on you." He said

"Huh?! Hahahhaha! That's hilarious Jellal! I'm the player here not him." I said to him straight into the eyes

"You don't get it Lucy. He's different from the other guys you've met before."

"So what is it in you?"

"I'm worried about you. I don't want to see you breaking. And I know that Natsu will break you if you are not careful around him. I know I can't take you away from him but I'm warning you Lucy about him. I know Natsu more than anyone else and he is just doing this for a stupid bet." He said

"Bet?! I don't believe you. And why would I believe you huh?"

"Okay fine. If you don't want to listen then suit yourself. I'm just doing this for you because I care about you."

"Care? Hahahaha cut the crap Jellal!"

"Don't tell me that I didn't warn you." He said

"Hahaha so if I did you will tell me 'I told you so, but you didn't listen.' Hahaha Jellal you don't know me. I can't break that easily like you are thinking. And please I don't want to talk to you in school, someone might saw us and I don't want some crazy rumors about us." I said and turn around

"Then why don't you just tell them about our relationship."

"Huh? Are you insane? I hate you. And I know that you know that!"

"I guess that won't change huh?"

"Yes and please don't talk to me in school again." I said and leave him. I went to the cafeteria and went to Cana and Erza.

"Why are you crossed Lucy?" Cana asked

"It's nothing." I said and eat the sandwich that she gave me

"I know there is something bothering you." Erza said

"Alright it's Jellal!" I said giving up. >.<

"Jellal?!" They said

"Yeah! He talks to me again." I said everything that we talk about and about my new plan on Natsu.

"Just be careful that he won't say anything about your plan to Natsu." Cana said

"I know he won't do it because he doesn't have the guts to do so. Don't worry about it." I said

"Can't you really patch things up with Jellal?" Erza asked

"You know about that right Erza so please just understand okay." I said and she just nodded

"Don't worry girls I'll be fine and your feeling for him Erza. I know it. You don't have to hide it anymore." I said teasing her

"Huh? W-Wha what? How did you know?" she said panicking and his face matches the color of her hair

"It's obvious. Right Cana?" I asked Cana beside me

"Yup!" she agreed and Erza blushed even more

"Hahahahahah." Bet huh? Is that true or Jellal is just lying? Whatever it is, I'm still doing this plan.
