Erza finally convinced me to go out. For the past three days I've been sulking in my room, or in my classes. But today, a chilly Thursday, Erza got me out. Smiling for once (yes, actual smiling), I skip (yes, actual skipping) with Cana into Love and Lucky.

"Well, now that everyone knows my name, might as well," I smile, looking up at the large sign and imagining it broken the way it was seventeen years ago. I step confidently in through the doors and smile at pink haired woman by the entrance.

"Aries-chan!" I smile.

"Lucy-san! So it is ok now? Gomen!" Aries hides behind a menu.

"Yes Aries. And you don't have to hide. We may own the restaurant on paper, but it's still your business! This place would be nothing without you!" I feel Cana look sideways at me.

"Or without your rowdy school friends." She bows her head. "I'm sorry!" She adds as a last thought.

"Haha no, it's ok." I laugh, and Cana and I go take a seat at our usual large booth. Except now the waiters officially serve us, as if we were in the restaurant section. My parents bought Love and Lucky once they had the money to support it, and they transformed it into a multi-sectioned restaurant. There's a cafe area, a fancy restaurant, a diner area, and a bar.

"So you own this place?" Cana raises her eyebrows.

"Yeah. Just another piece of my growing secret identity. Well, not so secret anymore. Anyways, I had to ask you something."

"Yeah?" Cana looks up at me after drinking her whole glass of water and refilling it herself with something she pulled from her purse. I don't get a good look at it.

"Yeah. What's been up with Erza lately? She seems so worried and stressed all the time, and I know she knows how to have fun. So what's wrong?"

Cana sighs, taking a sip of her drink, "has she ever talked to you about her boyfriend?"

"Jellal?" I lean in closer to Cana and smell a hint of alcohol.

"Well he's a bad kid. He's gotten in trouble with the authorities a lot, and was busted a couple of times. He just got off probation. But he loves Erza with all his heart, we can all see it. More recently some of his crimes were in order to do things for her. He's a kind of dangerous romantic."

"What does that mean?"

"Well, I'm a loose romantic. Levy's a story-book/movie romantic. Juvia's an open romantic. Laxus is a secret romantic."

"You know about that?" I breathe in one second. Cana nods, then continues, "Erza is a tough romantic, and Natsu appears to be a loose romantic, but actually is a sensitive romantic. But keep in mind, these are all from my perspective." Natsu does seem to be the sensitive romantic, deep down.

"What am I?" I ask cautiously.

"Well... I would say you're mainly a sensitive romantic, but you're also a little blind. And so is Natsu." There she goes, hinting again. I give her a smile for the benefit of the doubt.

"Here comes Erza..." I point out. Then, spotting someone on her arm, I gasp.

"With Jellal! What a surprise," Cana smiles. I stand up to greet her with a hug. Erza takes a seat, but Jellal stays standing.

"I was just dropping her off. Excuse me," he lowers his head and slips out of the restaurant, but not before giving Erza's hand a squeeze. I stand there, trying to remember where I heard those words before. Shaking my head, I hold it off for another time. I sit back down.

"I'm glad you're here, Lucy. I was afraid you sulk all the way up to the dance!" Erza still insists that I go to the dance, wearing my best dress and a crown. "Like a real queen!" She'd say.

"I'm still not one hundred percent sure about going, Erza. But I'll think about it."

"Well, it's the twenty-eighth! You have a little less than three days, Lucy. I think you should come!"

"I know you think that," I smile at my red headed friend. Looking over at Cana, I can't help but beam inside. I made great friends here at Fairy Tail. It's everything I was hoping it would be, despite the reactions from jealous girls. My friends understand. They're all that I've wanted, and I'm so lucky to have them. But someone's not here... My very first friend at Fairy Tail High is late! "Guys, where's Levy?"

"She can't make it, she's feeling a little sick." Erza updates us.

"Well I hope she can make it to the dance," Cana says.

"I should go visit her. Is she in her dorm?" I stand back up and look at Erza.

"Yeah, I've been making runs for her since her roommate is MIA."

"She probably doesn't want to be in the same room as our feisty little friend, because she's close to Lucy, and Lisanna has been a little less than welcoming." Cana grins.

"I wouldn't want to either. I'm going to go check on her. I'll text you guys," while talking I made my way out of the booth and over to the front of the restaurant when I stop in my tracks. The front doors open as if by themselves, and a bright light enters the restaurant. I shield my eyes, and when I look back, I can faintly make out the outline of a person. A person with broad shoulders, spiky, thick hair, and reflective sunglasses. His brilliant smile creates a beam of light that made every girl in the room (except for me and my friends) faint. After that sudden moment of fame, he reaches up to fix the tie on his suit, and takes off the sunglasses.

"Loke?"

I open my mouth to call his name, but I'm beaten by the multiple girls who came too and started rushing up to him.

"Loke Lion? Here?!" They squeal. "Can I get a picture?"

"Oh my god, Loke is here!"

"He's so hot!"

"He's famous!"

"Why is he here?"

"Ladies, please." His voice flows calmly over the crowd. "I'm here for one reason only." I look up from where I'm frozen to my spot and make eye contact. "I'm here to reclaim my bride."

A million girls must have screamed, but believe me, I was not one of them.
