The World at Large

Chapter 1

It was a normal rainy Scottish Thursday Lucas had school to go to. Lucas thought to himself "why don't I just play truancy who needs school anyways?"
So Lucas truanted school and went and ventured his hometown of Cumnock. Dodging police and teachers or anyone else that would try and send him back to school. Hiding in alleys and dark corners just wasting time until he had to go back to school to get picked up.
"Weeeah weeeah!" The sirens of the police cars went loudly echoing down the large open street.
"No I can't be caught" Lucas mutters to himself. Because of the change of events Lucas ran down an openly spaced dark alley which a car could fit through but what the police didn't know was that there was stairs to Lucas' hideout beneath the Box Cafè. Lucas runs as fast as he can he is nearly at the end at the alley when the police misjudge the size of the alley and get out of the crashed car jumping over tipped over bins and destroyed rubbish. Leaning over Lucas pulls up a tarp and disappears into the sewer systems and disappears while the stunned policemen look about in astonishment.
