Chapter 14: Surprise

*MADISON'S POV*

I wake up in the middle of the night. I light up the screen on my phone to find out it's only 2:30am. It's not happening often that I wake up in the middle of the night. It's really hot tonight. I stand up from the bed and walk downstairs to the kitchen. I open the cupboard and take a glass, then open the fridge and take the box of the milk and pour some of it into the glass. I take my glass of milk to my room and when I sit on my bed I hear some sound. And then again and again and again. Then I realize it sounds like something is hitting the glass. I slowly turn around the glass of milk in my hand when I hear the sound again and realize it's not the glass of milk. I look around and my sight stops at the window. And then it seems like something hits to it. I quickly go to the window and look outside. I see the dark silhouette standing in our backyard. Then it hits me. I put on my flip flops and quickly but quietly at the same time I walk downstairs again, but now I continue to the backyard through the kitchen. "What the hell are you doing?" I try to yell at the tall blonde boy, but I have to whisper to not to wake up my dad. If he would find out he's here in the middle of the night, I rather don't even want to know what he would do. "I had to see you and I have something for you" he smiles widely. "I said no gifts, do you remember? I don't care about that, I don't need that and" I want to continue and tell him that if I would want to have something, I could ask my dad, because he's really successful in business world, but he cuts me off. "Well, so, let's say it's a gift for me, but you're a part of it" he says and smirks. "And what is it?" I ask curiously. "You know, I thought that, since I have some time without recording or performing and other stuff, we could go on holiday, I mean, just the two of us" he tells me and wraps his arms around my waist and pull me closer to him with the puppy look on his face. "Do you really think my dad will let me go somewhere when I am supposed to be there only with you? And anyway where do you wanna go?" I ask. "Well, I was thinking that maybe you don't have to tell him, I mean, like not personally. Maybe you can leave him a note that you went somewhere. And I can't tell you now, well, I can, but I don't want to, because it's not gonna be surprise then" he says. "Oh, I see. The thing is, that I actually can't say no, because you already bought it, right?" I raise my eyebrow. "Actually, yeah" he says and look down on the ground. "Damn it, Luke. You can't just do stuff like this. It doesn't work like that. Why didn't you talk about it with me first?" I get a little bit crazy. "Because I know you and I know you would say no. You're just too tight all the time. You care too much about what your father will think about stuff. I just want you to relax a little" he says and bite on his bottom lip already knowing he said something what touched me on my weakest spot. I gasp for air trying to get some words out of my mouth. I don't even know what to say. We're standing there quietly for some time. He breaks the silence first. "Mads, look. Don't get me wrong, you know I want just the best for you, and I want to give it to you. I just want to be alone with you somewhere. I want it to be just the two of us and you have to admit it that it's actually really hard when your father is always around or appearing in the most unexpected moment" he tells me, and I have to admit that he's right. "But what about your fans? It's gonna be hard with them around as well" I look up at him. "Okay, I promise when we will arrive there, there wouldn't be any fans. I swear" he says and I nod. I wonder where he wants to go, but I'm not asking him, because he wouldn't answer anyway.

*LUKE'S POV*

"So, will you go with me? Please?" I look at her with my puppy face. She smiles slightly. "Will you at least tell me some basic information? Like what should I pack and other stuff?" she asks and I smile. "Well, it's gonna be really hot there, so just take typical summer clothes. We will go there by plane, so don't forget the passport and we're leaving in the morning. The flight leaves after 7am, so you actually have just few hours to pack everything you need. If you don't have something, don't worry about it, we will buy it later" I tell her and she nods. "I promise that it's gonna be the best holiday ever" I smile at her and she smiles back. I'll make sure and I'll do everything to make it unforgettable. Honestly my parents weren't happy and excited about the fact I want to go on holiday with a girl who I barely know, but I know I really want it and she deserve to be treated like this. "Okay, so I'll pick you up at 5am" I say. "What? I need some sleep and I have to pack as well and" she starts, but then I cut her off. "You should pack at first place, you can sleep while we will travel to the final destination" I wink at her and smile. She smiles at me and nods. "Great, see you in two hours" I say and give her a goodbye kiss.
