Chapter 4: Awkward Meeting

*MADISON'S POV*

My best friend Sophia rushes into my room. "Wake up, wkae up" she starts to shouting at me while I'm still snuggled down in my bed. "What? Is our house in fire?" I mumble. "No, but we have to go to the airport" she squeaks. "What? Why would we go to the airport? Do you know what time is it?" I ask her and look at my phone to find out that it's just 7:30. "Yeah, I know what time it is, but we have to go, because 5SOS are leaving to LA today, and I have to finally meet them" she says and I freeze. I can't go there. "So what? Why should I go to the airport just to see some stupid boyband?" I try to hide the fact that I'm actually panicking. I don't want him to see me there. I know Sophia and she will scream and do everything just make them to notice her, and I don't wanna stand embrrassingly right next to her."At first, their NOT a boyband. They play their own instruments which make them a BAND" she yells at me and I have to cover my ears. Now I regret that I said that. "And at second, their not stupid. They're totally hot" she says. "Wait, don't they have girlfriends?" I ask and smirk. "Luke doesn't, so still have chance" she says with a selfconfidence. I just roll my eyes. "C'mon Madison, admit it. He's hot" she cross her arms on her chest and waiting for me to admit the fact that Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds of Summer is hot. Well, he's not just hot. He's also nice and if you would think that he's bigheaded, I could say he's not. "Whatever. You have 10 minutes to get your ass out of the bed, put some clothes and make-up on and meet me downstairs. If not, I will personally drag you out of the bed and wear you in the most tight and shortest skirt and the shortest crop top and the highest high heels you have" she says to me and walks out of the room. I better get out of the bed, because she definitely would do that and I don't wanna look like a whore. In ten minutes I'm almost ready when Sophia almost snatch the door from the journals. "You had ten minutes" she shouts at me. "I'm almost done" I say and shrug. I fix my make-up with powder and I'm ready. "Fine, let's go you crazy fangirl"I giggle and pull her hand. What I wouldn't do for my bestfriend?

*LUKE'S POV*

We arrive at the airport and just through the window of the car I see a group of fans waiting for us. How do they always know when and where we are going? It's really crazy. Or hundreds of screaming fans in front of the hotel. We don't know in which hotel we're staying, so how could they? The car parks in front of the airport and since it's blac jeep with dark windows, everyone assumes it's us, so they start to run to the car and I feel like we will never get out off it. Our bodyguards get off of the car and slowly start to make a space between our fans for us to go through them. We all get off of the car and our way to the airport hall we're taking pictures with our fans. When I'm closer to the entrence I hear some girl screaming my name. I mean, she's not the only one, but this this screaming is different. This is more like, hey boy, look at me, i'm standing right there. Look here or I'm gonna do something bad to you.

*MADISON'S POV*

Sophia is screaming at Luke so hysterically. Other girls even start to looking at her and I know that she doesn't care about it, I'm feeling totally embarrassed. I just hope that Luke will just walk past us and he won't notice me. "Luuuuke" Sophia yells his name just at the moment when he stops in front of her. I quickly look at her and her face turns red of embarrassment. "Hi" she says, and I would say she wish she could fall under the ground right now. "Hi" he replies to her. I'm watching him by the corner of my eye. "I, I love you" Sophia tells him and I press the palm of my hand on my forehead. "Thank you" he says and I have to smile. What was she expecting? "I'm Sophia, and this is my best friend Madison" she tells him and pulls me to her. I look at her confusedly, because this wasn't in the plan. I start to panic and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say. I don't know how to back out from this. I'm looking at him and he's looking at me. We're staring at each other probably for too long, because I could hear babble of voices around me. "Hello" I say awkwardly after some time. "Hi" he replies to me and smiles. He has a beautiful smile. I smile back at him. "Can you take a picture with us?" Sophia asks him and holding him her phone. "Sure" he says and Sophia pushes me in the middle, right between her and Luke. He takes a picture with us and then he is pulled away by one of his bodyguards. I want to kill Sophia right now.

*LUKE'S POV*

What the hell was that? What was she doing here? Than it hits me. The way how she was looking at that girl. I think she said they're friends. Yeah, she came here with her. She probably made her to come here and she definitely didn't want me to notice her.

From Maddie: I'm sorry. That was awkward.

I receive the text message from her. It's not happening a lot that she texts me first.

To Maddie: Don't worry about it. Just promise me you'll be fine.

I know we were staring at each other for too long at some point and then the babble of voices started around us. I'm worry that people will find out that she's the same girl who they saw in the night club with. I worry that they will start these stupid rumours again. I don't want her to be pissed again.

From Maddie: Why shouldn't I be?

To Maddie: Just in case there will be some stupid rumours again. I'm pretty sure someone will find out that the girl from the airport and the girl from the night club is actually the same person.

From Maddie: I'll be fine. I promise. Anyway, I'm sorry about my friend yelling right into your face. :D

To Maddie: That wasn't funny at all.

From Maddie: I would say it was. At least the fact that she made me come worth it.

To Maddie: I thought that. I thought that she made you to come. :D

From Maddie: Whatever. Have a safe flight. ;)

To Maddie: Thanks. Anyway, it was good to see you before I'll leave.

From Maddie: Yeah, but it was awkward.

To Maddie: Awkward but good. :)
