The cake is cut, the candles lit,
But the girl feels lost,
forgotten, helpless.
Conversations flow,
laughter echoes in the air,
But she feels isolated,
with no one to love.
Photos are taken, moments are immortalized".
But the girl wonders if she'll ever be remembered.
They care about other people, it's true,
But only superficially.

maybe that way I'll be noticed!
Enjoyed or devoured!

They are taking advantage
