Izara's pov
"Get up!" I woke up to two bulky guys in front of me. They shoved me off of the bed pushing me out of the bedroom. It was dark, I couldn't see a thing in my room unlike outside the room where I saw the rest of the family being pushed like me. I tried to loosen their grip by biting and pulling. I eventually ended up screaming hoping someone would come if not my family then perhaps my neighbours. The one closest to me pulled towards him and covered my mouth. Not backing down, I bite the inside of his hand. He lets go, in pain. I scrambled past the two, running to Mummy's and Daddy's room. There wasn't time to leave as I could already hear them coming. The only chance I had for safety was to hide. I saw a spot in the wardrobe that was small enough to fit me. The two entered.
"Where is she?" the guys started to look for me. My palms were sweaty and my eyes were flooded with tears.
"Come out, come out wherever you are." The other one called. I closed my eyes as the footsteps came closer. I was holding my breath.
"Don't be scared, we don't bite." The other laughed viciously at the joke.
"Found you!" I screamed, loudly as the man picked me up and carried me, covering my mouth. I cried while he carried me down the stairs. I saw everyone, including a man with a hood draped over his head.
"Careful, now." He said. I realised that the man was giving me to the hooded man. He tried to lay me down but I did everything I could to stop him before he managed to force me down. I looked around the living room to see dozens of men in black with guns. I whimpered in fear. "Shhh, don't cry, Princess."
"Get your hands off of my sister!" Rufus yelled.
"Someone shut him up!" He barked. The man closest to him sealed his mouth shut with duct tape. "Princess, how could you be stupid enough to love someone who isn't related to you by blood?" I realised the voice was familiar.
"Alistair?" He pulled the hood down. As I suspected, I saw him smiling crazily at me. I felt betrayed and hurt. He was my friend. He had said so at the cafe.
"What do you want? You said you changed and you were coming for tea tomorrow." Daddy looked angry, the calm daddy I knew had just disappeared.
"Just because I was angry, doesn't make me insane. I just found out that I have a daughter today! Imagine how you'd feel knowing someone took your daughter!" I was terrified. My wailing was a cry for help. He left me on the sofa before he started hitting Daddy with the broom that he had probably gotten from the kitchen. I got up from the sofa and started pulling on his jacket whilst shouting the words 'stop' like mummy. Gloria and Rufus had their hands and mouths covered by duct tape. He finally stopped to look at me. If he was looking for his daughter then hopefully my plan would work. He dropped the broomstick and kneeled to my height. "Yes, dear. What is it?" I leaned in closer to his ear.
"Please, don't hurt Daddy," I whispered.
"Oh, but Daddy has been really bad." He smiled at me. "Perhaps, it might be possible if you can help me."I nodded, slowly. "Well, that's amazing, princess. I need you to come with me upstairs, first." He lifted me and carried me. "You two come with me while the rest of you make sure they don't escape." The two bulky men from beforehand followed us up the stairs. I realised he was taking us to the bedroom. He gently placed me on the bed.
"Alistair?" he hummed a response as he sat on the chair.
"Do you need help to find your daughter, I'm very good at finding things. I always help mummy find her phone or her car keys when she loses them." he laughed to himself, softly. I was almost calm until I looked at the knife sticking out of his pocket.
