The auditorium was festooned with gilt-framed paintings and a collection of antique furniture and vases. The ceiling was painted with nude Cherubs flying in the sky. Piles of doubt were flowing from my brain that I think Charles knew it too. He was silent during our journey to the dining hall. My eyes sparkled in delighted as I stared at the wide table that started from the front of the room to the back. The chairs were also gilt-framed with red velvet cushions. My eyes were fixated on the food. I smiled to myself knowing that this was the greatest thing that happened yet. I pinched my self to check I was awake.

Whoever said food was the quickest way to someone's heart. I agree with them.

"Good evening, princess." Said Alistair. He laughed to himself.

"What? Why are you laughing?" He was silent. "I like food. So what?"

"Nothing princess. Sit down, Will you?" I smiled and sat next to him. I reached my had out for a spoonful of peas until Alistair slapped my hand away.

"Uh-uh-uh." He makes his voice higher the end. "The food is not for you. Here is your plate." I frowned in annoyance as he handed me a plate with a single piece of bread.

"What do you mean? Alist- Daddy that's not fair." I corrected myself quickly. After last time I learnt my lesson. He then put another piece of bread on my plate.

"Okay, one more for calling me daddy."

"But daddy-"

"No buts." He said.

"But"

"Do you remember what I am." He said, implying that he could harm me using his wolf. I gave up and ate my food in silence. It was moist, warm and worth sparing. When Alistair isn't looking, I slit each piece into five to divide for the five sections of the day for tomorrow.

"Izara." I almost fell from my seat. It seemed as if he had eyes from the back of his head. "Just eat the bread, now." I do as he said.

Loud footsteps entered the hallway as two men with  two women entered the room.

"Joseph, you stink." Said a woman. Her hair was blonde and she had brown eyes. I would have told her not to speak like that but she wasn't lying.

"It's part of entering manhood, Kim." The guy who was presumably Joseph. There was one thing familiar about him and the man he stood next to.

"Warren you stink too." Another woman said.

"All of you leave!" Alistair shouted. I wanted to look at them but Alistair locked my head into his chest. Wasn't sure if it was a protective reaction or if he just didn't want me to look at them.

"Oh, Alpha, forgive us. W-we didn't know." I try to push out of his grip until he let go.

"Just leave." He demanded. I looked at the two men and realised that they were the men who brought me to Alistair.

I was here because of them.

They did this to me.

Maybe if it weren't for them I wouldn't be here.

I want to go home.

"Hey, don't cry." He picked me up and took me out of dinning room. We passed the group who made obnoxious comments on how cute was until Alistair angrily shut them up. He brought us to his room and sat us on the bed. He spared me a guilty look. "Please, stop."

"I want to go home." I sobbed.

"Your home is with me!" He exclaimed.

"I hate you!" I screamed.
