I hold my breath, the cold metal against my throat is making my mind race, but my body stays calm. "I'm pretty sure I set said by myself, but from what I count there is, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, of you here, why are you running from the guards? Are you wanted? "We mean you no harm sir, the guards were trying to take her away so we had to find somewhere to go" sho explains, face as calm as always. "Oh? and what's so special about her, she's pretty sure but it'll take more then that to make guards leave their posts." He asks. "If you let me turn around I'll show you" I tell him. He ponders it for a moment before answering. "Fine, but you try to come attack me it won't be pretty" he tells me. I nod and turn around to face him, his eyes widen slightly when he sees my face and the mark on my forehead. "I'm ex-crowned princess Kira of the fire elves" I tell him. "Alright, so why are so many of you royalty people so far from home?" He asks. I sigh and explain to him the situation. "Hm, your in luck that I'm actually headed that way, I'll let you remain on my ship until we get there, for a price" he says and I toss him a small bag of gold that I had in my side pocket. His eyes widen a bit at the sight of the gold coming out of the bag. "I suppose I should've suspected with three of you being royalty that you'd have plenty of coin and gold to throw at your problems but dang-" he says and I glare at him. "If we could throw money at my current problem we wouldn't be traveling across the world." I say "right right sorry, that wasn't very nice of me, I'm hanta sero by the way, I know who you, your half and half prince and the barbarian prince over there are but you guys have some extra people I don't think I know, they aren't royals as well are they?" He asks. "Nope, I'm Denki kaminari, I'm just a friend" our blond bard says. "And I'm ejiro kirishima, I'm their traveling companion and dragon" Kiri tells him. "Huh, I didn't think dragons got so close to humans" sero comments. "Actually it's usually just me, kat and kiri" I tell him "once again, didn't think they hung around humans" he says while looking at Katsuki. "I'm not human asshole! Humans are barbaric and awful!" Kat yells. "First off rude and second technically-" kaminari  started to talk before Kat cuts him off. "I'm a dragon soul you brainless idiot" "technically still part human" kaminari says as Kat hits him in the arm. "Dragon soul?" Sero asks. Kat and Denki are to busy fighting so I explain it. "It's when a dragon and a human get together, say kirishima were to mate with a human they would have a dragon soul, they have more magic potential then humans and they can have personality traits dragons have, like his anger issues" I explain to sero and he nods. "You guys can rest, there's a room below deck you guys can stay in" sero says before going to his own cabin. After we break the fight between Kat and kami up we head down stairs and go to sleep. My ear twitches in the middle of the night, there's a quiet song I can hear, it reminds me of my mother singing me to sleep as a child. I get up, feeling almost hypnotized by the voice, I open the door and wander up the stairs to the deck, my mind feels a bit foggy as I wander over to the railing, just as my body is about to go over the railing I feel a set of arms wrap around me. "You're lucky I noticed you from my window or you would've been fish food princess" a voice from behind me says, they pull me away from the edge and I turn to face them. "Oh- sero- I'm sorry did I wake you?" I ask feeling a bit bad. "No, I didn't think the sirens would be so close to shore, but I stayed alert just in case you heard them, we aren't close enough for the others to hear them without paying close attention, but you have to pay closer attention when an elf is on board this time of year, since their hearing is enhanced they are much more susceptible to the sirens songs." He explains. I nod and my ear twitches again when I hear foot steps coming up the stairs. "What are you guys doing up here so late?" The grumpy ash-blond asks. "Your lovely princess here almost became fish food" sero tells him. "What?" Kat asks confused. "The siren song, you can't hear them cause they aren't close enough yet but she can" sero tells Kat. His eyes widen and he rushes over to me. "Are you ok?" He asks. I nod extremely tired. Kat sighs and looks to sero. "Thank you for saving her" Kat says, it's one of the only times he's ever said thank you. "Of course, I try not to let my passengers end up overboard, and she clearly means a ton to you" sero says. Kat sighs and mumbles. "More than you know.." "hm?" Sero looks at him not quite hearing what he said. "Nothing, I'll make sure to watch her more carefully so this doesn't happen again. Thank you again, good night" Kat says and carry's me downstairs. He sets me down in his bed and wraps his cape around me and holds me close so he'll know if I get up again. I lay at his side peacefully and fall asleep.
It's basically the same process the whole week we travel across the ocean, kat won't even let me out of his sight, he frowns as he notices I'm getting slower, based on how quickly my energy is going down they only have maybe a month and a half to get me the fire stone or....he doesn't even wanna think about that, even if he'd never admit it he doesn't know what he'd do without me. Once we land at the port we wave goodbye to sero as he wishes us luck on our journey.
