I was in the bathroom sitting and talking to yanique on the phone about tattoos and piercings since she wanted to get some.
mi know she nah get one suh thats why mi say 'some'.
"Yuh did have belly ring liyah?"She suddenly asks squinting her eye on the camera and i softly laugh."Look how long..Mi tek it out tho."I tell her and she makes an O shape with her mouth.
"Mi did have septum and smiley but mi still have di smiley"I say again and she immediately speaks."Mi affi get a belly ring and 5 tattoo"And i furrow my brows.
"Yuh deven say mek yuh do two and guh back..blct..5 one time."I say and she throws her head back laughing with a pepsi bottle still in her hand.
"Yuh too terrible man"I say taking the clip out of the top part of hair to begin curling there."But after it nah guh hot"She says and i sigh loudly before looking at the camera.
"Yuh see how much tattoo mi have?.And di heart a mi first one and mi bawl loud yf suh if yuh want dat gwan guh do 5 one time mon"I state and she only looks at me smiling while i side eye her.
"Ah a joke but fi real hurry up and curl yuh hair suh yuh can follow mi guh do the belly piercing."She tells me and i hum in response.
"Yah do custom ring?"I ask her focusing on my hair in the mirror waiting for a response."Move from yah suh nuh ray!"She shouts before turning her attention back to me.
"Yea mi a do custom--Talk to yuh dutty bredda nuh liyah!". I finally look at the camera while plugging out the curling iron before speaking.
"Lowe mi outta a unuh foolishness yerr"I say pointing the curling iron in the camera and ray laughs while yanique glares at him.
"Oh yea liyah remember wah mi text yuh"Yanique says and i look at my nails blowing them before replying "Same time after work?"I ask and she nods.
"Plan unuh a plan fi sneak weh?.Mine mi affi tell dontae enuh"Ray says putting his face in the camera."A dat wid you now yuh chat too fucking much"I tell him kissing my teeth.
"Jah jah.yah move wid yuh favourite bredda?"He says placing his hand on his chest while smiling coily."Den nuh you alone mi ave as sibling drankro?"I ask spraying hair spray in my hair.
"Ah mi see di pree and best believe mi ago chat off mi mouth if yuh nuh deh home and him cya find yuh"He says moving out the frame and i cut my eyes.
"Guh inform and see if yuh nuh wake up inna one pool a blood"I say before yanique comes back."Ignore him yerr him a proper crawsis."she says and i smile softly.
"Anyways ring mi when yuh ready"She tells me."Alright"I simply say hanging up and focusing on my hair.It nuh look nuh way but mi need fi re-curl dah piece here.I think to myself.
Dontae was in the room sleeping since he was tired.He left the hospital early since he apparently had links and didnt want to stay there any longer.I heard matt talking about war against god knows who and ever since he keeps coming home with different scars and different stories.
I understand that he doesn't want me to worry but if hes staying quiet i am going to worry eventually cause what if mi lose him?..sometimes he even just sits in the living room drinking an entire bottle of Hennesy and smoking.
He knows I'm worrying and everytime its evident he try's to tell me nothing will happen and i dont need to worry.Him say dat last time and pick up a rass shot suh wah now??.I shake my head at the thought noticing my eyes were now teary.
"truh bumboclat.."I mumble to myself before throwing down what was in my hand and grabbing a piece of the paper towel to wipe my eyes.
I wiped my eyes and looked in the mirror to see more tears forming.
best yuh guh hide and bawl enuh liyah.
Just as i was about to grab more of the paper towel the door opened making me turn around and lock eyes with dontae.
His hair was in neat plaits and he was only wearing black shorts along with his chains still on.He walked towards and hugged me and i furrowed my brows in confusion hugging him back.
"Wah yah bawl fah B?."He asks and i don't speak.He breaks the hug and uses his hand to turn my head so i was looking at him.
and yuh know mi still nah talk.
"Mi a wait fi yuh talk."He says and i cant read his emotions since his face is just blank.No smile no smirk nothing."Nothing..mi have somewhere fi guh"I tell him trying to walk away and he stops me.
"Dat can wait..fawud"He says holding onto my hand tight but not tight enough to hurt me.we walk out of the bathroom and i notice hes heading for outside.
cya lecture him ago lecture mi now.Sigh.
Once were outside he sits on one of the chairs that are facing the pool pulling me down in his lap."Talk."Is all he says while i fidget with my fingers.

Yanique was sitting on the chair talking to the piercer about the belly piercing while i was thinking about getting another ear piercing.
Mi been want an industrial so mi probably get it fi real.I scroll on my phone looking at photos of the industrial before deciding to actually get it.
Might aswell.Mi need sum new or mi nuh name wah mi name.
Before i came here with her dontae gave me 'the talk' about not worrying about him and stop waste mi tears dem.But mi never did a listen to that..the only part weh mi did hear is him staying with me for an entire week next week.
Watch how mi ago clown him out.Him nuh want mi do him skincare like it a hurt him but this time mi affi dweet.All makeup a do him can stay deh.
i laugh at the thought before asking yanique if she finally decided what she wanted."Yea mi ago get 2"she says and i hum.
I saw donica's contact and that instantly reminds me that we have not heard from either her or ajay in the past weeks which is really weird.
when we invite her out she comes up with excuses or shes already busy.She doesn't even come to work and it makes us worried.But she will come around.right?.
