With how busy her schedule has been the past few months, Sarang couldn't even remember when was the last time she checked the dates. She'd wake up in the morning, her manager would brief her about her day's schedule and she'd jump right into the busy day. Her nights usually ended with Sarang stumbling in her dorm room late at night and falling asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow.
Which is why when Sarang heard a knock at her door at midnight she was absolutely disgruntled and annoyed.
"Who the fuck is here, so late at night?" Sarang grumbled sleepily as she made her way over to the door.
Usually she'd check over the intercom to make sure it was someone she knew and not a crazy stalker or someone like that. But her annoyance got the better of her and she directly made her way over to the door, not checking in who it was.
"WHO-" Her question died halfway through when suddenly she heard a loud pop and was showered with confetti. Through her hazy mind, her ears picked up on the voice she could identify even in her sleep.

"Jungkook?" Sarang called out, her sleepy eyes focusing on the smiling man in front of her door. She stared at him, perplexed, not quite sure what he was doing at her doorstep at this time of the night. She must've stood there for a longer time than she realized cause he gave her an awkward smile.
"Eh, do you think maybe I can come inside now? My hands are a bit tired you see." Jungkook awkwardly asked.
Sarang finally wide awake, noticed the heavy bags he was carrying and ushered him in.
"Yah what happened? Is everything alright? Why did you come here so late at nigh-" Sarang's rapid fire was cut short when she was engulfed in a hug by Jungkook. She went rigid for a moment. Unsure why he was hugging her all of a sudden, scared that something wrong has happened.
"You don't even know what date it is today, do you?" Jungkook smiled at her knowingly. At her confused look he just shook his head, "Happy birthday Sarang-ah."

"Ah!" It was like a light bulb went off in her brain. Her mind finally catching up to the fact that it was 11th of April, and it was indeed her birthday today.
