7~THE TALK
"Cupcake!!!" Alex screamed as he ran to meet Nadia. "I missed you!!" Alex admired Nadia so much that they were like best friends. Sometimes I felt jealous, both ways (if you know what I mean).
"Poochie, I missed you too," Nad said as she hugged him tight.
As Alex let go of Nad he glared at Danny and ran back to continue what he was doing.
"Sis, tell me your secret, it seems like he resents me more every time he sees me, I'm tired of the glares," Aidan said genuinely worried.
"Stop bullying him and he'll like you too," Nad said as she chuckled at his dilemma. I strolled into the kitchen with some of the groceries as Nad and Danny followed me with the rest.
"Hi mum.'' my mum was just about to start making dinner. As she saw the twins she grinned widely and gave them both bone-crushing hugs, you know, one time, she fixed my dad's back ache with one of her hugs.
"I'm so glad you guys are back you can finally get my daughter to go out." my mum said as she cooed at them.
"Mum just this morning you were so against me going out in the first place," I said as I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Don't look at me like that young lady, you know I am the adult and need to put my foot down once in a while it's not like your dad will do it." My mum said as she started to prep dinner. "I agree Aunty Kay." I glared at Aidan as he said that.
"Okay, you guys go help me bring the extra dining chairs from the basement." My mum hated seeing empty spaces anywhere so we kept all our dining chairs in the basement, one time my dad called my mum that he was caught up with work and my mum made me take his chair to the basement and bring it back for breakfast in the morning.
We went to the basement so we could grab the chairs. Aidan told Nadia that she shouldn't carry anything, she wanted to argue it but I'm guessing she knew how stubborn Aidan was so she complied. As we got down there Aidan carried two of the chairs and I grabbed one as I followed behind him.
"Why did you carry one more?" Nad asked as she stood at the top of the stairs.
"Oh, I forgot to say, hmm, Caleb is coming over for dinner." As the words left my mouth the twins stood there with their eyes wide in shock.

A while later after Nadia almost had an excitement panic attack–is that even a thing?– and Aidan shrieked and did his weird happy dance–his shriek was even louder than his sister's– they finally calmed down and I decided to put on our favorite show for them. You know I understand why Nadia was excited but Aidan's excitement kinda creeped me out.
Mum had already started dinner so I couldn't watch the show completely. The food was so good, that it attracted my brother like a fly to honey, he was already on the kitchen island trying to grab whatever he could.
"Oh, hey kids." My dad said as he strolled into the house.
"Good evening sir, welcome home." Aidan and Nadia answered at the same time. "Thank you." My dad trailed off as he started strolling to the kitchen– guess the honey's attracting some more— "Daddy!!" Alex screamed as he ran over to my dad. My dad picked him up but Alex didn't throw him off course.
"Alex, you don't have to scream every time, come on, you'll damage our ears one of these days," I said as Dad walked in. "Leave my son, you're just jealous of his enthusiasm." My dad said as he strolled over to where my mum was. I stepped into the living room to give them some privacy.
"Sometimes I feel these shows are planned out," Aidan said as he stared at the screen.
"I heard they pay them so I feel they add their juicy twists I saw an article where some people who had been on the show said they paid them and planned it out." Aidan looked at me, slowly nodded, and went back to the show.
