Every girl deserves a guy that can make her smile even when she doesn't want to.

Aza maneuvered both of us through the halls dimly lit by the crackling torches on the walls.

I hope the food is not out yet. I skipped lunch today so I could eat alot tonight.

I was big in terms of food, I could eat more than dishes I could name and according to people, the Amir is quite the generous man, my mind can only imagine the dishes he has planned for today.

Sizzling steaks with fancy red sauce topped with cheese and mashed potato cooked in black pepper with a drop of lemon in it.

Ah, my mouth.

"How long more to go?"

I waited for the response.

My voice was low yet enough for him to hear.  Then why did he not respond?

"Ammi must be wondering where I have gone and the food must be out aswell by now." It was quite obvious that I cared more about the food.

Aza quietly dragged me by my sleeve.

Even though he did not touch me but the close proximity enveloped me in heat, igniting me up.

The more my brain thought about it, the feeling grew and my fingers twitched.

Not being able to bear the my pulsating nerves, throbbing of heart and twinging feelings, I pulled my arm away, the sleeves of my dress slipping from his long fingers.

"Aza, how l-"

"Sayiditi (My lady) I notice that you have very little patience but worry not, my room is right there." Aza stopped and turned to look at me.

He pointed towards the giant gates in the halls, lightened up by blazing torches, "That is the west wing of the palace. The whole floor is mine. Come."

Not another word dared to spill from me as I followed him. Aza walked infront of me, his broad shoulders making his frame look a lot larger than me. His muscles hidden under the loose garment and his tall height oozed dominance.

Can't believe I have beef with this guy.

And the fact that he is taking me to his private chambers, no other man has probably been there, I probably am the first warrior to enter. A jist of pride went through me.

In Palaces, the private chambers are strictly off limits even to the guards. If someone wants to meet the khalifa, they sit in a court room that is made for public meetings.

And I have the honor to enter his room!

But you are probably not the first woman going in there, he probably has women from the harem entering his chambers every now and then.
