(20) - Fraud?

Continuation of Chapter 19

Narrator's POV

N had accidentally entered the room Marshal and his team uses as a sort of armory or  for briefing.

He looked around, eager to know more about it, and found a monitor.

The monitor showed a file that could be opened, which read 'Henry'.

N opened the file and saw 4 videos. He opened a video named 'HI_LOG.mp4'.

After Viewing the Video

N, confused and shocked closed the video and returned to how the monitor was seen previously... sort of.

"What influenced Marshal to do this..?"

He began to question the identity of Marshal, whispering.

Could he have been a warcriminal in disguise?

Did his past impact who he is?

He walked out of the room, still tramautized.

A Few Minutes Later

Marshal and his team entered the same room, talking to each other.

Marshal walked to the monitor and saw something that concerned him.

"Did any of you move the cursor before we left?" Marshal asked.

"No, why?" Kyoun walked to be monitor.

"I think someone came in and checked this. I'll go check the cameras." Marshal accessed the cameras he had set up and saw N entering the room and going on the computer.

"I never knew you were this meticulous." Victor said as the team conducted their business in the room.

"N entered the room and went on the computer." Marshal said as he checked to see what N had accessed.

He found that N had viewed the interrogation of Henry's video with Marshal and was staggered in the inside, but didn't seem to show that he was outside.

"He viewed the video of the interrogation on Henry.." Marshal said.

"Oh shit.. You have to talk to him about that." Kyoun said as Marshal walked to N and his room.

He knocked on the door and opened it.

He saw N sitting down on the bed, looking at him with concern.

"I n-never knew you were capable of doing that." N said with a shaky voice.

Marshal walked to him slowly and sat beside him.

"I-"

"Why didn't you tell me this? I.. I thought you'd be honest with me."

"Listen, what you saw was not what you think it is, t-"

"S-so you're not a warcriminal? Then h-how do you explain what I just saw?" N stood up in front of Marshal.

"I- I'm sorry. I have to go."

"N.."

N quickly walked out of the room as Marshal stood up.

Outside

N and V continued doing 'distracting activities' until Uzi had unconsciously prompted V to attempt to kill her.

Uzi would hide in a Cabin from V as she would get into an argument with N.

They part ways afterwards.

Later

The campers would soon discover Rebecca's torn body. Rebecca attempts to inform them what happened, but seemed to forget and would give unclear information instead.

Uzi appears as Rebecca dies.

Uzi seemed to undergo a transformation which made her seem close to a disassembly drone.

The confused and panicked campers go separate ways, attempting to escape Uzi, which seemed useless as they were all killed.

Lizzy, one of the survivors was about to be killed by Uzi but was prevented by V.

V would knock Uzi down.

"New body, same horrors. Huh, Cyn?"
Uzi would soon start to fight back.

Lizzy, standing there, disturbed by what had happened was blasted away by a missile from V. She somehow survives.

Uzi severs the tail of V and attempts to stab her with it.

N appears to stop her.

Marshal, unnoticed by anyone in the situation would sprint to them.

Uzi would make an effort to stab N with V's tail, but is avoided.

Marshal, knowing it would be dangerous, uses himself as a meat shield and is stabbed on the arm.

Uzi soon realises what she had done as he flies to the sky (sounds like a reference ngl) and awaits for her to return to her original form.

"I'm.. Sorry.. I didn't know.." Uzi teared up.

"This isn't my first time getting stabbed." Marshal said, seemingly undaunted by his injury.

They slowly descend as Uzi returns to normal.

Everybody would return to the bus as the teacher questioned V about the missing students.

V takes the blame for it but the teacher doesn't seem to care and would leave the camp.

Marshal's team positioned themselves at the rear of the bus silently as Marshal sat beside Uzi to ensure nothing happens.

The sun was seen rising and would burn Uzi's arm.

Marshal notices and quickly pulls it away.

"I'm in a fucking vampire movie or something.." Marshal muttered.

Uzi, still asleep, holds Marshal's hand.

Marshal slowly let's go of her hand as he turns to N, who seemed to be troubled, looking at Marshal.

"Can.. Can I explain myself about the video?" Marshal whispered.

N nodded.

"Henry was working for a terrorist organisation. He supplied then with chemicals and stuff to help them do warcrimes and stuff terrorists would do. He himself has done it as well, but when we caught him in the act, he managed to wipe out my team."

"His execution was supposed to happen anyway, so I did it early, myself, considering all the things he did."

"I'm... sorry.. I should have listened.." N reached out to hold Marshal's hand.

"It's alright." Marshal held N's hand.

"How will you recover from the stab?" N asked.

"Don't worry about that. You know me." Marshal smiled.

N smiled as well, relieved to hear that.
