Marshal's POV
We both came out of the pod. "Who the hell is that?" J pointed at me. "A new drone!" N chuckled lightly. "A new drone huh? It looks better than us for the job on this planet, honestly." V complimented. "Yes." I said. "Welcome to the team, I guess." V said as J rebooted N's memories.
N had a face of realization of whom he was truly talking to in the pod.
"Oh.." Me, J and V looked at him, confused. He looked at the path to his left. "Oh..." He looked back at us. "I left an- extremely dangerous weapon-an excuse outside!" He ran hurriedly to the path to his left. V pulled out a small flag from her left hand which read "Literally so insanely suspicious". I followed N, readying my weapon.
Uzi's POV
I didn't stop running despite me getting tired. I ignored my tiredness and kept running. I opened the wide door and saw the four Worker Drones still playing their game. They both groaned when I opened the door. "Ugh, bite me!" I shouted as I tried to close the door, and I did, but I heard something behind me.
The door didn't actually close. I slowly turned behind as I saw claws holding the door from closing. I widened my eyes. The claws pulled the door up slowly. I saw two bright yellow eyes behind the door at the gap. "
Hey guys! Ooh, deal me in! I love rummy! Wait, no, agh. I'm going to murder everyone.. Raincheck!" The tail's syringe caught the keycard for the door, and was on the scanner. There was a hole on the scanner, and the tail slowly moved back to N, and all the doors opened.Everyone ran, except for one.
Narrator's POV
The head of the unfortunate drone that kept sitting down was smashed by N. Uzi made sure she wouldn't stop, while the rest of the drones were murdered by N. N flew up to the ventilation shaft above, and Uzi stopped to shoot N with her recharged railgun, but only found the bodies of the late Worker Drones.
Uzi was shocked, until the door behind her opened, with her dad behind it. He looked at Uzi, then behind her. He was even more shocked than Uzi. "You.. What have you done..?" Uzi didn't have a chance to explain, as N landed in front of them. Uzi grabbed her railgun. "This time, I won't miss." Uzi said, determined, as N let out an evil chuckle. "I really enjoyed our time together, but I can't let you hurt Marshal with that thing."
Marshal was there the whole time Uzi and her dad, Khan, bumped into each other, undetected. As soon as he heard N say that, his face lit up.
"Bite me! Dad, get down." Uzi said as she kept aiming at N. "Uzi! You led a murder drone here?! But my beautiful doors!" Khan said in sadness. "Now is so not the time! I messed up, and the same way I'm about to fix it! Move dad!" Before Uzi could do anything else, N stabbed Uzi and put her on the wall. She spit out her own oil as the railgun dropped to the floor. "Dad.. Point and shoot! Trust me!" She said as she panted.
Khan looked at Uzi, worriedly, while N looked at Uzi, with a menacing-vampire-like face. He trembled as he walked back, taking out a remote and eventually closing the door. Marshal walked towards N, as the lights turned red, and an alarm could be heard. N's face went back to normal. The wide X on his visor turned into two bright yellow eyes, showing guilt.
Marshal's POV
Before I could speak, J and V landed behind me. "Woah, am I dreaming? Or did N do something not useless for once." They both walked past me, and towards N. They stopped. "I've been trying to get past those doors for months! Nice work N." V said. "Nice you remember my name!" He smiled. "These ventilation shafts will get us easily past the last door. Lowest bodycount eats a missile!~" V said mischievously as she flew up the ventilation shaft. What..? I thought to myself. J walked towards N, patting his back. "Way to go stud, the company's going to love this. With this colony wiped, we'll make top team this quarter for sure!" J said, happily. This is the first time I have seen her this happy. "You know what that means~ a branded pen!~" She said in a sing-song voice, clicking the pen. She looked behind and threw the pen at N, with an... oddly happy face, just for a pen. J looked up as her wings unfolded, getting ready to fly up the same ventilation shaft above V flew up. I nudged at N. "C'mon, do it." I whispered.
"Uh, you know, not that I can't wait to keep murdering these uh, not-so-actually-different-from-us Murder Drones but just out of curiosity.. Do we actually uh, know what company wants to do with us afterwards?" I nodded and pat N's waist. His face lit up. As soon as J turned around, I quickly let go of his waist. Uzi's eyes re-appeared and turned to N. "Excuse me?" J asked, disappointedly. "I'll take it from here." I said, patting N's waist once more. His face lit up again and looked away in embarrassment. "One of the Worker Drones suggested helping us leave Copper 9. I acknowledge the fact that it is againt company policies, but given insufficient knowledge on future plans of the company for us, it could be a good idea to work with the Worker Drones." J walked towards N. "Ah, no way buddy, questioning the company? Just the reason I needed." I looked at N, and saw that a virus was injected inside him. She walked away. "Murder Drones are corrupted, N. I hate to see you corrupted too." I look at J in anger. "T-thanks J, a-always looking out for me." N said as he fell on the floor. "Y-you're awesome." J flew to the ventilation shaft above.
Uzi walked to N. "Ah, biscuits. I ruined your card game and made you have an awkward moment with your dad." He said with a glichy voice. "Well you DID try to kill me, so morality calls this a draw." Uzi said. "N! God, what have I done?" I put my hand on his body, trying to find a way to remove the virus. "Goddamn it! N, stay with me, I'll try and find a way to help you!" I said as I took my helmet off. "Uzi! Are you going to do anything or what?! Give me the wrench you have or I'll get it myself!" I yelled at Uzi, almost tearing up. "Ugh, fine!"
