Chapter 8: "Is this still fake?"

-The next day-
Khenjie and Atheina both agreed to meet up near the school and enter at the same time.

"Oh, dyan ka na pala, let's go?" Khenjie said, not noticing Atheina was there already

(Oh, I didn't notice you there, let's go?")

"Tara" she replies
("Let's go")

Khenjie offered her hand to Atheina.

"We have to pretend" Khenjie said
Atheina nods in response and takes her hand and locks it with her own.

They arrived..

"Uuuyyy"
"Hala, new couple"

They heard lots of teasing once they got in.
Khenjie saw her ex.

Athenah saw Khenjie with Atheina, Athenah looks shocked, she looks..jealous?

Khenjie suddenly cups Atheina's face and caressed her cheek.

"She's looking" Khenjie whispered
"Oh, yeah, right!" Atheina said, obviously shocked.

The day goes on and Khenjie and Atheina stuck up to their plans.

While walking on the campus, Atheina saw her ex with her girl.
Her ex suddenly walked up to them
"Hey, looks like you've found someone new already". He says
"Ye, she's better than you ever were!
Looks like she came back to you, I'm glad I didn't take you back then" Atheina responds

"PSH"he said
"She'll never be better than me, tsk" he added
Atheina just smirked and held Khenjie's hand.

This goes on for the rest of the day, even tho they had agreed to do this only when their exes are around, they mindlessly do it by habit.
They hold hands, they compliment and stare at each other very often, even if no one's around.

Khenjie gets home and lays down the bed.
'I think I'm starting to like this' she thinks
'Atheina, I'm starting to like her'
'no, I shouldn't be'
'shes my FAKE gf'
'but her words, her touch, gets me asking,
Is this still fake?'
