Loki remained in his room after Thor had gone, going over everything that had happened this morning.  His brother had insisted that he would talk to Odin and that he would not go back to the cell.  As much as he wanted to believe his brother Loki doubted Odin would listen, he couldn't hope.  At least his Seidhr wasn't trying to kill him now.  He knew what had been happening, he'd studied the Seidkvelja centuries ago and, even through the madness he was trapped in, had recognised what had been done to him which was why he hid it.  He had committed the crimes, surely it was what he deserved.  It would possibly last another month or so, then he would be gone.  He had only lasted so long due to the Seidhr dampening effect of the cell, if it hadn't been for that he would have been dead after the first two years.  Would he be accepted in Helheim?  He severely doubted he would be joining the Halls of Valhalla.  Then it had stopped and his mind had been his own, he could repair the damage but to what end?  He was imprisoned with only guards as company.  Guards who were not to respond to him, speak to him or request an audience with the Allfather for him.  He was alone in a cell for the rest of his existence.  He had tried to mend the damage anyway, if only for something to do.  He knew there was still some damage now but the situation of Carly had taken precedence.

Loki was torn.  On one hand he wanted Carly to be Lady Beira but on the other he was scared.  If she is Beira, what will she think of what I have done, what I am?  If it is her.... I didn't look hard enough to find her.  Thinking back to the incident that changed everything he felt his heart tighten.

*Flashback*

Thor and his friends had decided to go to hunting in the forests surrounding the city for two nights.  After Thor had failed to convince Loki to join them he had stomped off grumbling.  The younger God had quickly put his plan in place.  He had gone to the Seidhr rooms, informing the guards not to disturb him for any reason as he was trying to master an extremely sensitive spell.  Once the doors were sealed he had transferred some of his Seidhr into a gem he had kept hidden there.  He knew Heimdall would not turn his gaze to within the walls of the Palace but the Emerald would work as a sense decoy.  If anyone tried to sense his presence they would find it within these rooms and with strict instructions to not disturb him his disappearance would not be noted.  Cloaking himself from Heimdall's gaze he quickly transformed into a raven and left via the balcony, heading towards the secret path towards Midgard.

Arriving on Midgard he quickly changed his appearance to fit the time frame before making his way to the Manor of Lord Owens, excitement and nervousness fighting for dominance.  Beira would be waiting for him near the entrance and the thought of seeing her again had him ready to run but that would not be seen as appropriate in this society.

Arriving he found his breath stolen from him.  Standing not far from the gates, long dark golden hair twisted and pinned in a modest style, in a long deep teal fitted outer gown,  with pale blue kirtle and corset with deep green detailing.   Lady Beira.

When she had first come to Asgard to study how to weild Seidhr they had not gotten along well.  A rivalry of sorts had formed as they each tried to learn faster than the other.  It wasn't until she had fooled Thor into thinking he had something attached to his back and people were just to afraid to tell him so as he was the first Prince that she piqued his genuine interest.  Once they started to speak plainly and cordially they realised they had many similar interests.  Soon they were inseparable, whenever she was on Asgard, wherever Beira was you were likely to find Loki and vise versa.

When Odin decreed that there was to be no travel to Midgard and Beira had chosen to remain Loki had been upset though he soon found the passage between the realms which Heimdall did not know about.  Since then he would sneak away when he could.  This was one of the few pre planned events and it had taken some time to set up.
Through his trips to see her Loki had realised that he had grown to love Beira and was tired of being parted.  The reason for this visit was so that he could tell her how he felt.  He was afraid as he was unsure of her feelings.
Walking over to her he bowed low, offering the lady his arm.  When she took it with a bright smile adorning her face he felt his heart soar.
