Morning dawned and the group ate fish for breakfast. After eating, they tried to break down the wall, but they have to be careful not to get smashed. "Rockroach, use your tail to hit the wall, but be careful," Marie spoke to her dragon who followed her order. With a powerful but precise blow, broke the dragon, with rock-hard scales the stone wall. Behind the wall was a deeper entrace "Yeah I definitely don't remember this. Let's go" Chris walked further inside, determined. Marie, Rockroach and Nightflight followed their friend and partner closely. After walking they reached a cave, similar to the cave on Marie's island, just with different runes and different pictures. Those pictures showed Skrills, Night Furies, Snow wraiths, Snow Furies, Changewings, Speed stingers and dragons that looked weirdly like Snow Furies but different in a way, everyone was surprised. They looked around, and decided to write down some runes just like on Marie's island. Chris looked around the cave more after putting the writing stuff away, she gave the paper with the runes from Marie's island in the saddle bag from Rockroach and the ones from her own into the saddle bag of Nightflight. As he looked around, he saw something shiny inside a small hole in the wall, he got it out and looked at the thing "Marie, I found a dragon lense!" "What?" the black-haired woman quickly got to her girlfriend and looked at it "Wonderful! Thor Fishlegs and Hiccup will be definitely excitet!" "Yeah! Speaking off, I think we cane for what we were looking for, we should head back. It's still morning. The sun will shine for a long time, we should leave now if we want to return as quickly as possible" "Yeah ofc!". The four of them ran outside the cave and took off.

After another many days, they finally reached the Dragons Edge again. They went to the main hut, the Dragon Riders were just sitting in the big hut. Chris and Marie entered and waved at them "Heya guys!" Chris began "We're back!" Marie finished. The heads of the Riders turned to them, Fishlegs and Hiccup were the first to standby them "And? Did you guys find anything interesting?" Fishlegs sounded excitet. The couple looked at each other, nodding, both got the runes out of their saddle bag out "Ye we found some weird runes in some caves on our islands. Could you please make some research on those runes and decipher them?" the white-armored viking spoke and Fishlegs took the runes, making sure not to mix them up, he made excitet squiecks, Hiccup looked facinated "That's pretty cool! But did you find anything else? Like the thing you two were originally searched for?", mow everyone was even more interested, Marie placed a hand on Chris' shoulder, showing her support, the brown-haired viking took a deep breath "Indeed." "And? What was it?" Snotlout now asked, crossing his arms, getting impatient "It's better if you guys sit down." Chris answered, so everyone did. Chris looked around "Im related to Viggo and Ryker" she spoke out loud, also in a slight awkward way "Im their cousin..", the Riders gasp "Oh that's a plottwist!" Tuff called out to lighten the mood, his twin agreed "Yes indeed. Who could've forseen that our Chris is related to Viggo and his brother?" Astrid now spoke up "Oh Odin, I feel so sorry for you." in a sympathetic way "Thank you Astrid.. Even tho I don't know if you mean that Im related to our ex-enemies or that they are dead." "That they are our ex-enemies" Astrid answered. Snotlout got up "Welp, from today on nothing will surprise me anymore" he had his normal tone and shrugged, Marie rolled her eyes at him. Now Hiccup got up and approached them "How do you feel?", the leader of the group wanted to make sure his teammate was ok, Chris waved her hand as a sign 'it's alr' "Im fine about being related to them, I always knew I'm related to Dragon Hunters, my father often spoke about it. It's just sad that they died before I really knew. But I'm fine." Marie placed her arm around her partners waist and kissed her cheek "That's not all tho" she said excitedly and took her dragon lense out of her pocket, Chris did the same. The group locked at each other, small gasps escapong their mouths, mostly surprisment. Fishlegs spoke up "That's great! Sadly we don't have the Dragon Eye anymore." Hiccup agreed "It fell into the vulcano afterall."  Chris sighed "Great.". The Riders fell silent, before Marie spoke up "Welp, did something happen while we were gone?", now the mood sank, Astrid had a serious look. "The Dragon Hunters are back. They attacked Melody Island and seriously injured Garth. We had to move him somewhere else after we nursed Garth back to health". The grey-armored viking looked at her partner, her partner looks back, both worried and serious "Seems like we came back at the right time then." "Yeah"
