Chapter 1: Introduction

"This is Berk."

"The best kept secret this side of, well...Anywhere."

There were new buildings, slightly more colourful than it used to be

"But this wet heap of rock packs more than a few surprises."

The sheep down below huddled together and tried to hide in the shade

"Life here is amazing, just not for the faint of heart."

The herd of sheep quickly changed locations, looking out for the dragons

"You see, where most folks enjoy hobbies like whittling or needlepoint, we berkians prefer..."

The herd pushed out one of their members and they were snatched by a dragon

"A little something we like to call..."

Dragons flew past each other, chasing after the sheep

"Dragon racing!"

The crowds were cheering

Fishlegs and his Gronckle had the sheep that was caught until they were pushed aside

They dropped the animal and it was taken by snotlout and his monstrous nightmare

"Whoa-ho-ho! Ho-ho! I'm sorry fishlegs, did you want that?" Snotlout taunted

"Oh, snotlout, that was mine!"

Snotlout flew back and flew next to the Ruffnut and Tuffnut

"Here you go, babe." He threw the sheep to Ruffnut

"Did I tell you that you look amazing today, 'cause you do" He flirted

Ruffnut scoffed and rolled her eyes

"Come on, Barf. It's starting to stink around here."

Tuffnut leaned towards snotlout

"Nope, still hates you." He laughed

He then stood up and pointed

"Lets blow this place, belch!" The dragon had sparks coming out of its mouth and a large ball of fire surrounded them

"Aah!"

"All right!"

They threw the sheep into a little hole which had their pictures on it

The animal fell into a net which was stacked with other sheep

"Oh, yeah!"

Stoick laughed

"That's nine for the twins!"

He looked at the scores

"Astrid lags with three! Fishlegs and snotlout trail with none!"

Their nets were empty

"And Hiccup and (y/n) are...nowhere to be found. Hmm" He sat down

"Scared them off with the big talk, didn't you, Stoick?"

Astrid smacked snotlout on the back of his head

"What are you doing, snotlout?" He asked

"They're gonna win now."
