Buzz-Buzz

I wake up to the sound of my phone vibrating not even realizing it was already past noon. It's a text from Calum.

Calum-

Morning Mia, well afternoon but anyways I was wondering if maybe today we could hang out or something... I mean only if you wanted to of course but if not that's okay too. I only have 3 friends... now 4 because of you so yeah. It'd be nice to hang out but then again only if you'd like to. Just let me know. Thanks, sorry to bother you ,if I did.

I smile at the thought of that, hanging out with him was fun and I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Me-

Sure, I'd love to :) what time? It was no bother, I like hanging out with you.

He replies almost instantly.

Calum-

Okay great, ill drop off my friends on the way to get you.

Me-

I wouldn't mind meeting your friends but only if it was okay with you seeing as they're your friends after all.

I set your phone down and get out of bed to go get ready, I still don't know what time he's going to pick you up but being ready isn't the worst idea just incase it's soon.

Calum-

Of course it's okay that you meet them I just didn't know if you wanted to but you do so in that case... see you at 1:30!

I go downstairs and get a cup of coffee not replying back to his previous message. Once my cup is poured I turn around and my mother is standing there.

"What are you going to do today hun?" she asks pouring herself her own cup.

"Nothing really, just going to hang out..." I take a long sip trying to avoid this conversation.

"With who?"

"The friends I told you about yesterday... they're going to pick me up" I say hoping she drops it but of course she doesn't.

My mother isn't the worst but also isn't the best mother she could be. At least right now. Sure she has her moments where we have a little fun but she always finds ways to take things out on me when most of the time, its not my fault.. She would freak if she knew I were hanging out with a boy because she cant grasp the fact that I'm growing up. She's been overly controlling lately, telling me what to do all the time. I mean I get it,  she's trying, but sometimes trying isn't enough right now because my father is gone. He passes away a little over two years ago from a car accident. Its been hard on her but she hasn't even stopped to ask how we've been doing.

"They..? I thought it was only one" she asks looking worried.

"Oh.. yeah. Um, I'm meeting their friends today so I'll have more than one I guess" I reply pouring the rest of my coffee down the sink.

"Aw Mia, that's lovely. I would love to meet them. You should bring them to dinner some night hun. I'm so glad you're making friends!" She smiles at me waiting for me to answer, as if I have a choice though.

I smile back and give her a kiss on the cheek with a small nod before heading to the door. I wait outside until they arrive. With a little chime from my phone I receive a text.

Calum-

We'll be there in 5 minutes. Be ready.

Me-

Already outside.

He doesn't reply back so I just wait, dazing off into my own thoughts. I look off into the distance and down the road I see someone pulling into their driveway. I look closely and realize who it is... Harry. Of all people of course it has to be him. I found myself staring even though I cant really see him and I'm great full that he cant see me either.

Calum finally pulls up and I give one last glance in Harry's direction, I stand up and walk to the car getting into the passengers seat.

"What were you looking at?" Calum asks looking curious.

"It was nothing really." I smile at him.

"Alright, Well... Here are my friends, Zayn, Louis and Michael." I turn around and look over at them.

"Hi" I say looking at all of them.

Michael and Zayn say hi and shake my hand.

Louis goes to shake my hand but reaches to far because he was looking at his phone instead of at me and accidentally touches my boob. "Oops" He looks at me with a nervous expression and shakes my hand this time. "Sorry" I smile, "It's alright" I reply and turn back around.

Calum parks in the bowling alley parking lot because that's where we all decided to spend our day. We walk inside, got our lane and put on our shoes. I'm the one that has to go first seeing as the boys insisted on Lady's First. I don't mind so I go. On my first shot I got a strike, they cheered me on. I bowed at my accomplishment and as soon as I stood up the first person I saw was, Harry. He clapped his hands mocking me.

"Well well well, look at you. Way to be a show off." He says crossing his arms while giving me a look I couldn't quiet understand.

"I wasn't showing off. It was just a lucky shot." I reply feeling my temper raise as every second goes by.

"Must have been." he gives me a little smirk. "I have an idea. Whoever bowls the most points wins. The winners get sixty bucks, 15 dollars per person while the losers pay for it all including the cost of all games. Ashton, Luke, Liam and I against all of you. What do you say, you in?" he asks putting out his hand for me to shake.

I give him an evil smirk, before anyone could agree or disagree I shake his hand and say "Deal". He gives me the same smirk before he turns around to play. He doesn't know what he has coming for him, I turn to my team and we get in a huddle. I give a little speech saying our game plan. It's Calum's turn to bowl now, lets just hope our team beats theirs.

Let the games begin.
