I watched Ava pick at the chicken fingers on her plate. Sitting at my mom and dad's house, after explaining to them what happened. My mom doesn't want me to go home now, but I cant live here with my child. It would be to crowded.

"So are you pressing charges"? My mom asked.

I shook my head. "I can't do that to Avas dad. As long as he leaves me alone I'll be fine". I said.

"Emily, this is serious". She said and I turned to her.

"I know. That's why I'm not bringing it up infront of my five year old. Leave it". I said and stood up.

My mother sighed and leaned back into the kitchen chair as my father walked in. He was still mad.

"Okay Ava, give grandma and grandpa a hug and kiss goodbye". I said, trying to leave before my dad started.

My little girl got off the chair and went to my mom, smiling as she gave her a hug.

"Please call me when you get home, I want to make sure you're safe". She said and stood up, giving me a hug.

"I'll be fine. I'll call Mike if I need help". I said and picked up Ava.

After I grabbed her bag I walked out and down to the car.

"Mommy, what's wrong"? She asked.

I gave her a smile. "Mommy's just tired". I said and strapped her into her car seat.

I shut her door and walked over to the driver's side and got in. Time to go home to a quiet house. Maybe I can enjoy it this time.

As I drove off I turned the radio on for Ava.

"Okay next up we have a chance for you guys to win tickets to go see Machine Gun Kelly next week for his Cleveland Ohio show."

I looked down at the radio and turned it up. Why do I know that name?

"Have you ever seen him live? He's great. He's from Cleveland right"?

That's where I know that name. I grabbed my phone and pulled over in the gas station parking lot quickly. I dialed Anni's number and she picked up laughing.

"I knew exactly why you were calling"! She laughed.

"Is that Kells"? I asked.

"Yes! He's coming home for a show and I just happen to have tickets"!

I turned to look at Ava looking out the window.

"I can't go". I said.

"Why not? Ava can go, he's kid concert friendly". She spoke.

I leaned back into the seat and sighed. "I don't know. When's the concert"? I asked.

"Ah. The 13th. We can carpool". She giggled.

"I'll let you know." I whispered and after Anni agreed we hung up.

When I heard the song I turned it up. His voice echoing in my car. All the memories came back to me and I smiled. He actually did it. He made his dreams come true.

It only took me 20 minutes to get home this time, normally I'm stopping to get Ava a cake pop from Starbucks. I looked back to see she was asleep now. I used this time to think.

If I were to go to his concert, would he remember me? I grabbed my phone and looked him up, watching all the new posts coming to the surface. I clicked one with him smiling as it talked about his new album "mainstream sellout". I smiled as I read some of it and got out of it. I clicked on another one with a picture of him and Megan fox. I bit my lip as I read how exclusive they were but damn did he look different. He's no longer the guy with the backwards hat and baggy jeans, he was now the guy with Gucci and Prada clothing and gold chains. I dug myself into a deeper hole as I clicked images and sighed. He's grown so much.
