"Thank the Lord for the weekend." Renèe said as she walked in her apartment, coming home from work

Renèe had gotten a new job a couple of days ago. She hadn't had a job two weeks before that. She had just been giving some people Azaria knew some food and she had done a couple heads of hair on the side.

Renèe heard her phone ring and smiled once she saw Monique was face timing her.

"Hi pretty girl." Monique said as she smiled brightly

"Hey Moni. You missed me huh?" Renèe said this, teasing the girl as she put her purse down

"Yeah, your lunch break was way too long ago. How was your day?" Monique asked

"Let me tell you girl. These nasty ass kids. Somebody left they nasty socks on the trampoline." Renèe said as she scrunched up her face

"I know you already wanna leave." Monique said as she chuckled at the girl's facial expression

"I do. This job teaching me I do not like kids. I mean sometimes they alright but no. But enough about me, how about you?" Renèe said

"It was alright. I ain't have class today so it was chill. I'm about to watch a movie right now." Monique said, looking like she was in the kitchen

"Can I come over?" Renèe said feeling impulsive

After not getting a response, Renèe wanted to retract her statement.

"Uh, sorry. I just wanted to hang out. It is a little late." Renèe said nervously

"No, its ok. You can come over." Monique said as she smiled at the girl's nervousness

"Why didn't you say so then? Had me nervous." Renèe said

"Cause it was cute." Monique said with a smile

"I don't do that to you. Making me scared." Renèe said

"Yeah, cause I do it all the time. And you know. I like it when you tell me you like me." Monique said sincerely
