-TW: mentions of Attempted suicide-
"Get up." A woman demanded. Addy opened her eyes. She laid on the lab floor.
"Go away." She mumbled.
"No, you are getting up, and we are going." Clarke sat her up.
"You're annoying, you know that right?" Addy pushed her hair out of her face.
"Polis is gone, and we need food. There has to be somewhere out there, but we need to find it."
"Good luck with that." Addy wiped her face with her sleeve.
"Are you seriously okay with dying? Is that what you want for your child."
"What child? There isn't a child until I can physically hold it and know it is okay. Other than that, it's just a thing that is inside of me determined to kill me."
Clarke grabbed her hand, and pulled her up. "For this to work, for us to survive, I need your help." She whispered to her. The two of them grabbed what little stuff they had, and loaded it into the rover.
The two of them first stopped at Arkadia. They scavenged for anything they could use. They fell short on actual supplies, but found some scraps they could surely find a use for.
Night fell, and everything was silent. No bugs were around to chirp. The girls sat in the rover going through everything they had. Clarke grabbed the canteen, and took a sip. She sighed.
"I'm sorry. we are out of water." She looked at Addy.
"It's okay. I'll be fine." Addy continued sorting through things. They both worked in silence, until they fell asleep.
"Addy's gone. Well ignore that. She isn't dead, but this morning she couldn't get up. We've gone without water for a couple days now. I don't think she'll make it. She came up with the idea to radio everyday, hoping someone would hear. Too bad she doesn't get to." Clarke spoke into the silent radio. "Please don't feel bad about leaving me here. You did what you had to do. Addy did too. You know, in the past couple days, I think we learned more about each other than we had in the months when we came down to Earth."
Clarke drove the rover. Addy's wheezy breathing was heard in the background.
After driving forever, Clarke needed to rest. She laid in the back with Addy. Thunder was heard in the distance. Clarke shot up. She took a deep breath, and climbed out of the rover. Rain poured from the sky.
"Come on." She mumbled, dragging Addy out of the rover. It wasn't ideal, but she laid her on the ground hoping water would just fall into her mouth. Clarke ran and grabbed things to collect more water in.
Addy after getting some water perked up a bit. She cupped her hands, and chugged whatever she could catch. They two girls laughed in relief. They collected all they could in whatever dish they could find.
As they drove some more, berries dropped from the sky. The girls climbed out once more, and ate whatever was splattered on the rover.
Thunder rumbled again. Addy turned to see dust spiraling towards them.
"Clarke get in the rover now!" She called both of them rushed in. Sand and dust engulfed the rover. Addy rolled the window up.
"The solar panels." Clarke breathed out. "Stay here." She demanded. She wrapped her face up, and put Jasper's goggles on. Clarke climbed out, and tried to save the panels, but the one she managed to get off flew away with the wind.he got back into the rover, and was coughing out whatever dust was in her mouth.
The storm had finally passed. Clarke tried to start the rover, but after a couple tries there was no luck. Addy climbed out, to notice the solar panels were destroyed.
