Sonic POV

When I had arrived Everyone was here Knuckles, Amy, even Shadow was here, by now eggman had seen me looks like he's been waiting.

"Fashionably late am I right?"I said while destroying one of his robots by spin dashing, "darn you stupid rat!, what are you robots doing?! Get him!" He said clearly mad that I had destroyed his robot, I grinned at him as he had an annoyed expression on his face.

"Finally your here, what took you so long?" Said knuckles while punching one of the robots "oh I was with tails at an ice cream parlor, say how about after this we head over there? My treat!" I said while using a robot to destroy another.

I hadn't noticed one of my bandages getting caught onto one of the robots arms as I used it to destroy another, the bandage had ripped off exposing my un-healed arm. My heart dropped as everyone began staring. Everyone was silent. Hell even eggman and his robots stopped and stared.

"Sonic!! Wait for me!" Called out tails from behind me "whys everyone staring at you? Oh.." he said as he finally understood and began staring.

I was frozen in shock I didn't want anyone to find out especially not like this!! It was shadow who broke the silence by walking over to me  " You know, you shouldn't keep those out in the open they can get infected." He said as he put his jacket on me. "There you go."
"Oh um.. thanks.." i said slightly embarrassed since everyone had found out "guess my biggest secret isn't much of a secret now is it?" I said slightly chuckling , trying my best to lighten the mood a bit but to no avail.

After beating eggman and his robots it was even more awkward, we all just kind of stood there.

"Sonic. We need to talk about this."said Amy while looking up at me, I was silent, oh god I felt like curling up into a ball and crying. "Let me see them." Said shadow as he slowly approached me. I didn't want anyone to them. I didn't want anyone to see the huge ugly big fat scars decorated on my skin because I couldn't handle it.

He held his hand out waiting for me to give him my arm so he could inspect it but I didn't want to.
" I won't judge if your worried I will, I just want to make sure they aren't infected" he said slowly taking my wrist and rolling the sleeve. Tails stared at me in shock "I thought you said you'd keep the promise." He said slightly angry.

"Tails i promise these were from before we even made the promise I promise you I haven't done it since we made that promise last night" I said pleadingly hoping he wouldn't be too upset "why don't we go to my house so we can get those cleaned up?" Said shadow breaking the tension a bit

"Uhm I don't know me and tails have gotta get going." "It wasn't a quest he said and grabbed tails before chaos controlling us to his house.

                   
                     Shadow POV

I quickly let go of the two and searched the cabinet for the first aid kit, after I'd found it I opened it and took out some bandages and antiseptic as well as some antibiotics,I took his arm cleaning the still scabbing wounds and drying them before putting the creams and bandages on them so they'd heal.

"Why're you doing this?" He said as I bandaged his arm. "I believe we got off on the wrong foot. I'd like to make amends with you"I said as I put everything back in its place and put it away "if you ever feel like doing this again you can call me, but doing this? It's not okay." It was silent once more

"Soo.. does this mean you guys aren't rivals anymore?"asked tails from behind sonic, I'd forgotten I had brought him along, "I guess it does what d'ya say faker?" I say turning over to look at sonic " I dunno.. I guess?"he said slightly confused "why don't you come over for dinner?"said tails walking over to us " I guess.. that's if you don't mind that I'm not the greatest cook..and we need to get groceries too." He said handing me back my jacket

"It's fine you can keep it if you want" I said pushing it back towards him. "So um me and tails have to go get groceries.." he said now walking towards the door "oh and um thanks for helping me clean my..wounds" he said as he walked away.

The real reason I helped him wasn't because I wanted to stop being rivals,it was because I realized I'd fallen in love with him. But he didn't have to know that, it's not like he was immortal like me, one day he'd die, but I'll help him be okay.

I had arrived to sonics house while he was still cooking, I watched those focused mesmerizing eyes as he was cooking, something he looked so very passionate about.

I chatted with tails for a bit, asking him how schools going it kind of felt like I had a family.

Though it would never be possible since I was not made to die ever, they would all pass eventually and I'd remain on this earth. With never ending mental and emotional agony.
