Although Sonic had never really had time to experience an actual relationship, he would do just about anything for his younger brother to see him smile in his last few months.
He had downloaded the dating app Tails had asked him too but didn't know what gender he preferred so he just chose 'any' what's wrong with women and men?
It wasn't long until he had a match for a guy named 'Chris', he was a 26 year old who was an office worker. The man wasted no time in messaging Sonic practically spamming his phone as soon as Sonic had approved him. Which although was a bit off putting, the hedgehog didn't mind he was probably nervous

Chris- hey! My names Chris, what's yours?
Chris- how old are you?
Chris- why aren't you answering?
Sonic- I'm sorry! I was cooking dinner, my names Sonic and I'm 24.
Chris- it's okay what are your hobbies?
Sonic- I don't really know I'm too busy to really do anything I enjoy
Chris- ah I get that you're one of those busy guys?
Sonic- you could say that, I have a lot of responsibilities since there is someone in the care of me
Chris- so you have a kid?
Sonic- you could say that though I don't know if he views me that way
Chris- how old?
Sonic- gee man you seem really interested in my life why don't you tell me about yours?
Chris- my hobbies are going out every Sunday and doing something with my mom or sister, this time it could be you
Sonic- smooth but not smooth enough, though I'd like to take you up on that offer
Chris- great it's a date then, I'll see you at Marcella's restaurant at 7:30 on Saturday
Sonic- oh! Okay then is it okay if I bring Tails?
Chris- the one your responsible for? Yes you may

Sonic found it a bit weird on how the guy named Chris was interested in his life, it seemed as though he wanted to know EVERYTHING about him, but he just decided to chalk it up to being paranoid about meeting people online.
Sonic knew he couldn't judge the guy seeing as he would do that too, but it seemed a little off putting.
"Tails! Were going somewhere on Saturday!!" Sonic called out into the hallway.
"What? Why, where are we going?" Asked the messy haired yellow fox.
"Oh, uhm just don't worry about it. Anyways what do you wanna do today?"
