A/N: I just realised age differences here, so Voldemort is like 30 years younger but everyone else is the same age. Also, so that there isn't incest, Bellatrix was actually adopted by Cygnus and Druella (Her's and Narcissa's parents)

The Weasleys had been paid to care? Dumbledore had lied to him, and stolen from him? His parents were alive, and actually the Dark Lord and his least-liked teacher? Hadrian blinks yet again, shaking his head to try and clear the words engraved in his mind and the page in front of him. It didn't work, the words are still there. They are still stark black marks against the paper and his eyes.

A strangled gasp came from beside him, jerking him back to life. He looks around and notices Severus and Lord Voldemort clutching onto each other.

"Hadrian." The whispered word drifts over to him and the love and longing in it makes him feel faint, but before he can fall slim arms encircle his shoulders, supporting him, like always, even when he didn't realise it. Even when he didn't know that he needed the teasing and prodding to keep him grounded.

"I'm here." Draco whispers into his ear. And Hadrian knows he is, that he will never leave, even if he gets pushed away. Because they are mates.

Griphook bows once again, gathers up his equipment and leaves as Lord Voldemort and Severus slowly approach. Draco looks up at them, baring his teeth in a snarl, warning them to keep back.

"We mean no harm." Severus quietly whispers, looking only at Hadrian, who looks up and registers his parents. He slowly nods, signifying to Draco that they can approach, Draco studies him before moving back, granting access.

"We've missed you so much." Lord Voldemort quietly says to Hadrian. He nods, accepting the statement. "We understand if you don't want us as your parents, but we hope you'll at least give us the chance to look after you. And we're so sorry about the past 5 years, we thought you really had been corrupted by the monster, I never want to harm you." He continues fiercely.

"You're my parents." Harry quietly whispers, trying the words out. To his surprise they fit, in a way he never knew or expected. He looks at them again, "Tell me everything." He demands.

They nod, and Lord Voldemort starts. "Dumbledore had been growing in power, he was the real Dark Lord, and people were flocking to him by the day, but the Minister still didn't trust him completely, so he said that I was the Dark Lord, I had always been a strange kid, and I was very powerful, which is why Dumbledore wanted me out of the way. But these things meant everyone believed him, there were a few people who believed me, they became my Death Eaters. We actually did make that name, it was supposed to mean we weren't afraid, but they believed it was bad." He says bitterly. "One of my believers was a young man named Severus, I remembered him from school, he had been just as much of an outcast as I, but he interested me, because he came straight to me directly, asking to join. I happily accepted and we grew closer, until we finally mated." He smiles at Severus, "Then came a time, I felt that something big was coming, and we knew it was dangerous, but we still wanted a child, so we asked Bellatrix, who had been a longtime friend for both of us, to be a surrogate mother. And you were born." He smiles at Hadrian, half happy, half sad. "And then one night, Severus and I were out, and you were at Lily and James'. Dumbledore had somehow found this out, and he invaded their place with a few of his closest friends, the Weasley's among them. James and Lily put up a good fight, but they were eventually killed. But instead of killing you, he decided to take you, and raise you for his side. Severus and I arrived too late to stop him. He told the world that we had actually attacked the Potters, who were apparently actually fighting on his side. When we learned of his plan, we knew you would come to Hogwarts eventually. So Severus pretended to be on his side, and teach at Hogwarts, so we could find you again. You being in Gryffindor was a surprise, but it made us aware of the full strength of Dumbledore." He finishes sadly.

Hadrian sits in silence for a while, processing this. Finally he speaks, "The sorting hat said I would be good in Slytherin as well as Gryffindor."

Suddenly he starts to sway, Draco quickly reaches behind him, supporting him. "This, is a lot." Harry whispers as his eyes close and he completely collapses.

"My Lords, it's been a long day, and Hadrian has been told that his whole life was a lie. Perhaps he could rest for a bit, and then we can work out how to get all of those blocks and potions off him?" Draco asks, picking up Hadrian.

"Yes, you're right. Follow me." Lord Voldemort says, striding towards a staircase. Draco follows him up to a bedroom, "He can sleep here."

A/N: This song is Villain by Kaya Hass and the Bookish Songs Collective. It's about being called a villain or hero even when you aren't, which is what this chapter is about. (It does have a deeper meaning that is a relationship, but the song is really cool and it basically fits)
