Eve walked around the Tardis console, scanning her eyes over the various buttons and levers. Amy had disappeared off to her room as soon as they had entered the Tardis after the whole fiasco with the Daleks, claiming she needed her beauty sleep.

Eve too wanted to sleep but her mind was running wild with questions about what had happened that day and as she tried to make sense of it all, she was only left with more questions than answers. This was what led her to walk around the Tardis, thus ending up back at the console room, studying the controls as she tried to distract herself from her thoughts.

Eve couldn't help but scrunch her eyebrows in concentration when her mind automatically flashed back to when she remembered the Daleks. Why was it that she could remember them but Amy couldn't? Why did she forget about them in the first place? Was the reason she was able to remember them because of her powers?.

Eve closed her eyes, taking a deep breathe as she tried to clear her mind once more, obviously her plan to distract herself from her thoughts wasn't working as well as she had hoped.

"Could you direct me towards the library, please?" Eve asked softly as the Tardis hummed and lit up a pathway for her to follow.

"Thanks, sweetie" Eve said with a smile as she lightly patted the Tardis wall before following the pathway to the library, hoping to take her mind off things and hopefully fall asleep after doing some reading which always helped to relax her mind.

The Doctor was in a similar state to Eve, his mind repeating the events of the day over and over again, scanning to see if there was anything he could have done differently. Trying to find a scenario where he beat the Daleks and saved the Earth but the reality of it was that there was no version like that. It was either the Daleks or the Earth, either one or the other, not both.

The Doctor was worried. That was a bit of an understatement. Not only was he already imagining all the terrible things the Daleks could do in the future which he would without a doubt blame himself for despite having no control over the situation. There was the matter of Eve and Amy both not remembering the Daleks at all, although Eve eventually remembered them briefly if she thought about them hard enough, it was not reassuring to the Doctor at all.

On one hand, something had happened that shouldn't be possible for both Eve and Amy to forget the existence of the Daleks, when the Daleks have been on Earth multiple times. On the other hand, whatever is happening to Eve or whatever she is, it allowed her to some how overcome this block in her mind but the process was obviously painful. Add that to already trying to work out how his soulmate has powers of telepathy and psychokinesis when she was supposed to be an ordinary human.

The Doctor had found himself in the library after aimlessly wondering around the Tardis, too lost in his thoughts to even realise where he was going.

Upon entering the library, he looked around in confusion when he felt a sudden wave of calmness wash over him, breaking him out of his thoughts. The Doctor, quietly walked towards the seating area in the library, a certain pull in his chest getting stronger the closer he got, until he finally laid eyes on the cause of these feelings.
