Chapter 22

Author's POV

Rudra entered inside the room and saw her lying on the bed lifelessly......

She is covered in the white duvet and her hands and face have so many doctor tape on the injuries

It just aches his heart seeing her in that condition

He tried to control his tears in front of her but it's being so difficult for him to do that

He took a step towards her bed with shaky legs

He sat on the stool near her bed very cautiously as if he might hurt her.....she is lying with her eyes closed

He slowly took her hand in his making sure he won't touch her wound and his touch make her open her eyes and she looked at him with tears in her eyes

He shake his head in denial telling her not to cry

"I am fine Rudra" Naina said in her low voice which is merely a whisper but he could hear it and he just nodded his head...........

"Who did this to you Naina" he asked her trying to act hard but all went in vain...... Naina can clearly see him crying.......crying for her and she just can't explain that feeling.......she just confessed her love to him before she lost her consciousness

Seeing him crying for her and the way he is looking at her.......she is keeping her hopes high that he might be feel the same for her

Because if he doesn't than why her tears , her pain affect him that much which makes him cry?????

*I can't tell him who did this with me.......he won't believe me and also telling him the name of the person who did this with me means inviting the trouble for Rudra and I can't do that...............I would like to die than to push him in the trouble which is solely mine* Naina thought this in her mind

"I don't know Rudra.....who the person was" Naina lied and this time successfully

Rudra nodded his head "don't worry sugarcup.......I will find him soon and make him pay for his deeds" Rudra said angrily

And Naina just can't help.......she is falling more and more for him.......his care , his concern just so much overwhelming for her and him calling her with the nickname sugarcup just tooo cute to be handle by her

They are both are looking in each other's eyes as if talking through the eyes , but they got disturbed by the voice of the nurse

"Sir , I have to feed ma'am.....can you go outside" nurse said with dreamy eyes fixed on Rudra and it's not go unnoticed by Naina

Instead of going out

"Give it to me , I will feed my wife" Rudra said taking the tray from the nurse and almost bursting her bubble of happiness when he mentioned his wife

Nurse give the tray to Rudra and adjust the bed so that she could recline

Rudra put the cloth on her and started feeding the soup to Naina which she is eating gladly even after not liking the taste at all....afterall her Rudra is making her eat with his hands.

After she is done eating ,Rudra wiped her face with the tissue and his fingers brushed her lips and realising it he immediately removed his hand.

"Rudra.... mummy papa..." Naina is trying to say but cut off by Rudra

"I didn't inform your parents Naina, don't worry.......and mom dad knows about your health.....they are calling.....I will tell them to come...till then you rest here" Rudra said answering her unasked questions but before he could go out of the room
