Chapter 23

Author's POV

It's been a week since Naina is in the hospital well doctors allow to take Naina home after 3 days from that incident but Rudra was not ready as he wants her injuries to heal a Lil because he knows that she will not have her medicines on time and will not take proper care of her

On the next day of that incident her parents visit her and her mother started crying seeing her daughter in that vulnerable state but Rudra handled them well and also promised them that he will take care of their daughter

Rudra also didn't leave Naina's side for even a second.....he didn't even go home to rest.......he stayed with Naina and ate what she use to except for the medicines.....hehehe

For the whole week Naina use to have a nightmare of that incident....she is not telling him what has happened exactly and who the person was but her screaming in her dreams just make him worried more about her and to calm her down he stayed by her side for the whole night....holding her hand , murmuring soothing words to her and also tried to distract her mind from that incident day

He barely slept in that week and completely forget about himself in taking care of his sugarcup

It's the night time.....Naina is lying on the bed and Rudra is sitting on the sofa checking the mails in his laptop

And Naina is getting restless because he is not giving her attention, it's not like she is attention seeker but she wants his attention but he is busy in his laptop

"Naina....what are you doing ??? Just sleep na" Rudra said glancing towards her

She bites her lower lip and looked at him , she wants to know the answer

"Rudra....." She called and he looked towards her for a second then diverted his gaze back to his laptop

"Hmmm....." He replied

"Can I ask you something?" Naina asked hesitantly because she don't know how he will react on the Ques she is going to ask

But she is ready to face the consequences but she can't keep herself in some assumption also she wants the clarity from his side

"Hmm...tell me..." Rudra replied still not looking at her completely

"Rudra......aapne suna tha, Jo Maine usdin kaha tha....." Naina asked and Rudra knew what she is trying to ask but Rudra already decided that he don't love her...it was just his humanity that he showing towards her nothing more than that

(Rudra........you heard what I said that day.....)

"Hmm.......But I am sorry Naina......I don't love you and whatever I am doing for you it's because of humanity and for the promise which I did to your parents.........I don't want to hurt you but I don't feel anything for you...................I hope you get your answer ,  now please have some rest" Rudra said breaking her heart

Hearing all these Naina's heart broke into many pieces and tears started to make their way but she can't show them to him

She turned towards her side and her back is facing him..........

*He is doing this all for humanity na...... ohkayyy it's high time to show him what he is loosing* Naina thought in her mind and wipes her tears and a smirk is playing on her lips

In the morning

Dr. Mehra came , he is Naina Dr. And is very sweet towards her

"So how are you Miss. Naina?" He asked her
Rudra is standing beside her bed glazing at the dr.

"It's Mrs. Naina Dr." Rudra said still glaring  at him
