Chapter 4

Author's POV

A black mercedes parked in front of the Sharma's villa and oberois came out of the car in their all elegance........... Sharma's gathered near the main door to welcome their guests

Sushma(Naina's mother) greeted everyone and they greeted them back ......they all came inside the house and settled in the drawing room and there is an awkward silence between both the families.......no one knows what to say and from where to start..........

Naina's mother decided to break the silence
"Rudra nhi aaye aapke saath" she asked oberoi family

(Rudra didn't come with you guys?)

"Oh I am sorry , I just forgot to inform you actually he wanted to come but at the last moment an important meeting arrived so he can't make it today.........but you guys don't worry it's yes from his side and we are here to make your daughter ours officially" Rudra's mother answered with a sweet smile on her face

"It will be good if they will meet once" Naina's mother said

"Yeah ofcourse they can meet anytime don't worry about that and we won't presure her if she will not be comfortable before a meeting" Rudra's father assured them
To which Sharma's nodded their head and then refreshments served them by the house helpers

"Please call Naina, we are so excited to meet her" Shivani said

"Yes please call her" Rudra's mother insisted

"Just give me a minute I will bring her " Naina's mother said and left the drawing room

She went to Naina's room saw her being very nervous
As soon as she saw her mother she hugged her and her mother just patted her back "let's go, everything will be alright" said her mother to her

All the while Naina was thinking why she is so nervous I mean she have met with so many strangers in her life professionally she never become this nervous then why now

Because it's not any client stupid her mind answered

Shut up you idiot don't trouble me anymore

Before she could realise they reached in the hall and she hung her head low

"Come beta , sit with us" Rudra's mother called her and patted the seat beside her

She went and sat beside her

"Wow you are more beautiful in real than in photograph" Shivani commented making her blush without lifting her head she mumbled thank you to her

"Really sushma ji your daughter is really beautiful and you told me that she is CA I must say she is a complete blend of beauty with brain" Rudra's mother commented

"Beta don't be shy......let me introduce you to our family" Rudra's father said and she lifted her head a little

"I am Rudra's father......she is Rudra's mother and she is our daughter and he is our younger son ,Rudra's brother" he said pointing everyone

She stood from her place and touched his father's and mother's feet and they blessed her

"Beta , actually Rudra have some important meeting today so he can't come with us but we liked you already and want to officially make our daughter but only if you agree I mean will you be our daughter in law or you will need time and will tell us after meeting him.....feel free beta , we won't force you" Rudra's mother told her......

Naina thought how can Krishna ji be so grateful on her today but whatever thank you Krishna ji for making it easy for me

"Thank you Aunty for respecting my opinion but my parents choose your son for me and I don't doubt their choice" Naina answered

"So that means I can call you bhabi now" Ranbir said

"Yayyyy........mummy I already like her , your choice is amazing..........so hello our soon to be bhabi" Shivani said in excitement and side hugged her

Everyone have smile on their faces and her father have the proudest smile.

After that oberois perform the rituals and shower her with lots and lots of blessings

At dinner table

"Food is really tasty aunty.......you have magic in your hands" Ranbir said enjoying his food

"I didn't make this food.....Naina cooked it all" Naina's mother told them and everyone was shocked to hear it

"Bhabi you know cooking and that too so delicious" Shivani exclaimed

"Yes...I can cook Indian , Chinese, Italian" Naina said looking at her

"That's awesome beta....tbh I didn't expect that you know cooking and that too so tasty and not only Indian others tooo.....I must say I am really blessed to have a daughter like you" Rudra's mother said truthfully making her blush

"Thank you aunty" Naina said

"Reallyy beta food is too good.......my stomach is full but not heart" Rudra's father said making everyone laugh

"Thank you uncle" Naina said

It's time for them to leave but they don't want to

Naina's mother came with a lunch box "Anuradha ji....if you don't mind can you take this food with you for Rudra ji" Naina's mother said to which Naina smacked her head internally

"Sushma ji aapne toh mere Dil ki baat sunn li (you voiced out my heart voice).....Rudra loves kheer and I don't feel appropriate asking for it but I also want him to taste Naina's hands food" Rudra's mother said truthfully and took the box from her hand

After that they all bid their byee and his mother told that she wanted to take Naina today only with them but they have to wait and it's going to be a really long one.

Naina's POV

I am in my room after changing into comfortable clothes because that saree I am not used to it and it's irritating me so much

Finally the day ended and I don't have to talk to whoever it is or else I start having a second option...... honestly saying I am not happy with this marriage but I agreed for it for my parents sake and whatever will happen now whoever he will be I will take it as God's wish and will accept it whole heartedly

I really liked his family ....they are so understanding and loving people if not him I can get a very amazing family after marriage

I am happy today not because of the marriage but because of the proudest smile I saw on my father's face....he means the world to me and not even in my dreams I can hurt him but somewhere in my heart I am still scared of future surprises and I wish that I will like them bs Krishna ji itna Krna future me mere saath sab acha hi ho....I prayed and then I drifted to sleep as I have to go office tomorrow
