"Ladies and gentlemen, my dear comrades, I understand that tiredness has taken its toll on each and every one of us, but we must have the strength to pull through The village is just around the corner.

When we arrive I need the wounded to get brought to the medical building while the others I need you to gather in the open field outside the entrance.

I myself must find the village mayor and discuss with him what we have seen and prepare for if the dragon comes back and decides to attack this one."

As we approached the village, a mix of curiosity and devastation painted the faces of the villagers who came to greet us. The wounded were urgently brought to the medical facility where the doctors quickly ran out prioritizing the heavily injured first.

I quickly grabbed on the shoulders of Edger and Pearl, I led them away from the bustling crowd, drawing us closer to the other guards and the open field.

"Let's step aside for now; there might not be much we can do at the moment. But let's hope that our arrival was quick enough and that they can still be rescued."

"I can't help but feel a sense of responsibility to lend a hand instead of just observing," Pearl expressed.

"Why don't you go over to the doctors and offer your assistance? With your knowledge of creating simple remedies and your experience in your parents' shop, there's definitely something you can do. Meanwhile, Edger and I will speak to Nytsul and see if there's any other way we can help, just in case the Dragon returns."

Pearl rushes over to the medical staff members with a sense of urgency and commitment, without wasting a second, she dives into assisting them in treating the patients.

Edger and I walk to Nytsul, asking if there is anything we can do to help in case the dragon does come back and we need to defend ourselves, Maybe some magic or a sword?

"Look, I understand your eagerness to lend a hand. But for the time being, take a moment to gather yourself. I ask you not to charge headfirst into battle, brandishing swords. Let's hope it doesn't come to that, but if it does, I promise I'll take action.

Although I'm not exactly permitted to do what I'm about to, screw it, come closer. Rune, your magic lies in Fire, Dark, and lightning Attributes, while Edger, yours are Earth and Fire.

You see, the dragon used fire, evident by the scorch marks and the devastated buildings. Hence, it's useful for you, Edger, to familiarize yourself with the other element for the time being.

Here, I have a beginner Earth spell for you, Edger. It propels stones towards your intended target. I apologize for not being able to offer more at this moment; I'm already bending a few rules as it is.

As for Rune, I have a Dark spell that hurls a bolt of shadows towards your target. Practice over there in the brush of the woods, where no one can witness. I'll get you once we receive an update from the captain."

We accepted the spells that Nytsul had given us and headed towards the woods, as we walked off into the shrubbery I asked Edger to try his spell first just to see what it was capable of doing in terms of strength for just being a beginner spell.

He stood into position firmly planting himself and preparing before casting it. "Okay here I go, From the mountaintop and Deepest pit may the Earth bring strength to the wielder's fist Earth Break and Release!"

The very moment he began speaking those words, the earth beneath his feet began to break apart. Piece by piece, seemingly defying gravity, the ground rose and began forming around his hand.
