As we collected twigs and branches from the trees around us, a sudden, colossal shadow loomed overhead, stirring a mix of curiosity and fear within our hearts. In an instant, the calm air was pierced by a deafening thud, followed by piercing cries and screams coming from the distant side of the village.

I instinctively unsheathed my knives, while Edger, unsheathed his glistening sword. Without hesitation, we darted forward, drawn by the urgency to unravel the cause of this chaos.

En route, we encountered the townsfolk running from that side of the village holding the same look of terror as the survivors of the other village did.

We found ourselves surrounded by not only the knights that came with us but also some of the town's guards having their swords ready and their bows poised with arrows ready to unleash.

As we cautiously came around one of the houses, a sight that struck us with awe and wonder unfolded before our eyes. Lo and behold, there stood a majestic and formidable creature, towering nearly twenty feet tall, with wings protruding from its mighty back.

The sheer sight momentarily rendered us motionless, our senses overwhelmed by its presence. However, we swiftly regrouped and pressed forward, regrouping with the others and finding our way to Nytsul.

"Men stay on the defensive, cautious and wary of any potential threat. We don't take the initiative to attack but rather wait until provoked. It's a matter of self-preservation.

We can never truly understand the intentions of others, especially when it comes to a formidable creature like the Dragon. Engaging with it in a hostile manner would only escalate the situation, making it far more dangerous for everyone involved."

Just as the Captain said this the sound of footsteps came rushing forward, The person charged towards us, swiftly getting past our defensive line, brandishing a sword at the Dragon.

"What are you thinking, you fool? I just told you that charging at the Dragon without any knowledge of its intentions will only worsen the situation! This recklessness will put not only yourself but all of us in jeopardy."

"You speak of consequences, but you don't understand the depths of my anguish. I have witnessed the loss of my family and the merciless slaughter of my friends. They were torn apart and devoured without reason or mercy. In the face of such devastation, revenge becomes my only solace, my only purpose."

He got to the Dragon and swung his sword making a piercing gash upon the Dragon's scaly leg, expectedly The dragon retaliated sending him hurtling through the air like a ragdoll he landed a good twenty feet away from where he was standing.

the Dragon then approached us swinging its tail sending a knight and a few guards crashing into one of the nearby buildings. It was time for us to go on the offensive, some of the knights began surrounding the Dragon while the mages prepared their staffs for combat.

"Ouch thats gotta fucking hurt," I said as a small grin grew on my face.

"Not cool Rune, you wouldn't be laughing if that happened to you!" Pearl said.

"It would seem that we have no other choice in the matter now, men Raise your arms and prepare to strike. Knights set up a physical boost spell on yourselves, Once that's done I need the Mages to try and pin down the Dragon the best you can."

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation and determination as the Knights raised their voices in unison, uttering powerful Strengthening spells. A faint, glow radiated from their bodies.

With resolute hearts, the Knights lunged towards the mighty Dragon. Their objective was to draw its attention from all angles, to distract it, giving the mages the chance they needed.
