Esther and Lilian watch Kai eat yet another bag of Pork Rinds, talking with his mouth full, "And all I could think was, why continue to fight me?" Kai starts laughing, crumbs falling around his mouth.

Esther looks at him in disgust, mouth still taped, speaking, or better yet, yelling at him.

"What did the witch say in the face of death?" Kai starts laughing, almost falling over on the couch. "Nothing! Because I taped it shut."

They were sitting in a grand home. It was dark, classy, kind of like an old Italian home with high ceilings, large windows, and a bar with an obscene amount of bourbon.

"Where are we?" Lilian cuts Kai off, ripping the tape from Esther's mouth.

"Oh!" Esther yells.

"1994," Kai says.

Lilian laughs, "Yeah and I'm a Bollywood actress."

As Lilian continues to laugh, Esther looks more closely at Kai. There was an off feeling yo him, like her son Niklaus, that just wasn't right. "Why are we Here?"

"Um....I'd assume because of the same reason I'm here," Kai shrugs.

"Where is here really?" Lilian asks, getting up and walking around, looking at the books. Salvatore. Great, they are at the Salvabores home.

"1994," Kai repeats, tilting his head back and he shakes the bag of pork rinds letting the crumbs fall on his face.

Lilian groans, opening the door to see it's dark outside, really dark. She looks up at the moon, seeing a noticeable light ring around it. "A solar eclipse?"

"Yeah it happens all the time here, everyday," Kai mentions.

Esther and Lilian look at each other, "A solar eclipse," Esther mutters, turning to face the boy, "who are you?"
