Flashback. Enids POV

I sat in sheer horror after seeing Glenn, the man who took me in have his head beaten until he was unrecognizable

"Well He-llo there!" The vile man waltzed up to me "Are you legal?" I glared up at him with hatred dancing in my dark orbs "Go fuck yourself" I spat and next thing I knew Me and Carl were being dragged off "No!" My moms hoarse cries echoed through the dark night "Don't take them their all I have left!"

Her sobs were heard as she tried to get up which resulted in her getting shoved roughly and kicked numerous times in the stomach "Stop! I'll kill you!" I seethed and struggled to get free and so did Carl "Don't hurt her!" He shouted

I lifted my shirt up and looked at the bruised skin "I'm sorry my loves" I whispered. Enid had struggled free to get to me which resulted in her slipping on Glenn's remains leaving her coated in blood. She spent the rest of that night in those clothes until we made it to hilltop. Carl found comfort in Sophia and we were doing pretty well

4 months later

"Happy birthday!" I walked into Carl's room- well more like waddled "You're 17! Jeez I'm old." He laughed "Yeah what are you now 45?" He grinned and I gasped "I'm twenty four" I slapped hid arm

"Happy Birthday Grimes!" Sophia walked in and kissed him "There's your present!" She smirked and laughed

I let out a pained gasp "The babies.." I groaned "go get-" I frowned and sighed in sadness "Well let's go.." I told them and we went to the clinic

"Mom!" I heard Enid say "What honey!" I shouted back "Sophia's bit!"

I got up quickly and rushed outside to be greeted by a body covered with a sheet and I gritted my teeth "No God damn it no!" I shouted to the sky I approached the sheet and saw Sophia lying still underneath a bite on her neck at a gunshot through the side of her head "Damn it!" I blinked back tears and approached my little brother

"Dear God I'm so sorry.." I engulfed him in a hug "She was expecting my child Ari.." I gasped "I-I.."

2 months later

We were hiding in a sewer because of negans men bombing us "Hey sis.." I turned to see Carl "I gotta show you something" my eyes widened and I knew "Where..?" He raised up his shirt and I cried out and collapsed to my knees "No... no no NO!" I screamed "I can't lose you I can't.."

"I'm sorry Aria I really am I don't wanna leave you.." He whimpered and fell to his knees to hug me "I love you Ari, you're my best friend.." He said and I cried harder "I'll be with Soph.. And Glenn and Mom, and Me and Sophs baby.. we were gonna name her Arianna Taylor Grimes.." I looked up "I can't believe I'm gonna lose you.." He started crying "I'm sorry Ari..."

I flinched as the gunshot went off and my baby brothers body made a thud as it fell against the ground I turned to Enid who was crying beside me "It's okay baby he's better than us.." I lied. Infact I wish he was here to watch his neice and nephews grow.

I knew he wanted negan alive.

I sat with Enid talking about just anything "So what's with you and Alden?" I smirked and she blushed "I think I really like him.." She said shyly "I think he really likes you" I said and laughed and I thought about the time on the farm when I gave Carl shit about Sophia along with Dad and Carol

"Hey dad!" I called to Daryl "you going to the bridge?"

"Yea Ri me and Mags are!" He yelled back "Okay!" I nodded and went back to talking. Dad has been building a bridge to connect us to the other communities "Be Safe I love you!" I shouted and he smiled and waved "I will, thanks darling! Love you too"
