Loss.

I waited for Daryl to get back from the bridge and I was reading a book as the kids were asleep and Enid burst in "Daryls gonna explode the bridge!" She shouted and I jumped up and rushed to the barn where I grabbed a horse and I got on it and galloped down the road "Yah!" I yelled and made the horse go faster

"Mags!" I shouted when the woman came into sight "Ari! He's down there!" She yelled and I galloped down the hill "Dad!" He was hurt bad with a wound in his side and was leading a group of walkers "Leave them!" I cried out and galloped towards the bridge "No!" He yelled hoarsly "Stay back!" and with that he shot the dynamite on the bridge

"No!" I screamed as the explosion went off and got off the horse and rushed towards the bridge before Carol pulled me back and hugged me "No Ari.." She had tears streaming out of her eyes and I struggled out of her grip "No! He can't be dead, Alexandria needs him." I said and she smiled sadly "Your father would've wanted you to be the leader after him, he had said that he thought it's time for you to take that position up again.." She kissed me on the top of my head "Sophia and you were my daughters.. so please don't do something rash, Judith, Wyatt, Harley and Colton need you." She walked to where the flames on the bridge were dimmed down and a helicopter was landed and I followed "What the fuck?" I held my gun up and shot at someone in it but missed. By then it was too far away to shoot

Something in my heart told me that Daryl, my father was alive.

7 years later

I felt my eyes watering as I looked at the area where they were rebuilding the bridge "Oh dad.. why did you have to do it" I whispered. But was quickly interrupted by Carol "He thought it was right." I groaned "doesn't mean it was Mom"

"I miss them all, Momma Lori, Amy, Glenny, Noah, Carl, Soph, Ally, Dad." I shuddered thinking of how long ago this all started "I hate to think I'm remembering Glenn longer than I knew him.." Carol hugged me "your father loved you baby"

I shuddered again "Carl would've been 24" the age I was when he died." I sighed softly "I'm glad the kids have it safer" I shook my head and looked at the sky "I sometimes wanna be up there too" Carol gasped "Don't ever say that Arianna Grimes Rhee!" I waved bye "I've gotta prepare for the fair! Love you"

I was whistling unloading fruit when a woman I didn't know approached me "Oh hi!" I said and smiled "Can I help you with something

"yes.." she replied in a soft gentle whisper "Can you show me where the brave Glenn Rhee is buried?" I smiled sadly "yep, I'm his wife Aria" She frowned "I'm so sorry dear.."

I took her to the secluded spot and looked down at him when all of a sudden my vision went black.

Red. That was all I saw, I woke up in a barn my daughter Enid and sister Judith beside me we were all tied up

"NO!" I screamed before grabbing the gun which was in my bra. I shot down all of the men except for the woman who tricked me. The rest of the people trapped surged around me to get to her and hold her down so I could kill her when i stepped on something My husbands watch I looked down and bent over to pick it up "Why do you have this." I screamed "That was in my home!" A wave of gut wrenching horror passed over me "no.." I whispered "What did you do to my kids!" I screamed

She smiled a horrifying smile and put her finger to her lip shh

I lost it "IF YOU TOUCHED THEM I WILL KILL YOU!" I blinked the tears away "Where are they.."

"The hill.." she replied before I got to her and stabbed her right in the skull

I started sprinting towards the only hill around "Harley! Wyatt! Colton!"  I was shocked and scared for my kids. But what I saw next was even more shocking

My kids being held by a man I hadn't seen in 7 years.

AN: I decided to actually keep writing this mainly because I miss writing I've been taking a break because I've been living life more and being with my friends more and I've actually met the love of my life and his name is Atlas, he's so funny and reminds me of Glenn lol I might rewrite this story in a different version!
