Here we are... I've been waiting for these results for quite a while they still haven't come in! But as soon as I say that it comes in. My pen pals' number is 8963... My mother has been checking up on me daily to make sure I'll be okay, she's still very upset... but she'll get over it... Ah come on! What am I saying? I might just die because of this game and then my mother will be devastated! I can't die... Why am I agreeing to this? I think she might've told my father already... I assume we start writing to each other tomorrow, I check my email just to make sure. Alright... yes tomorrow! And since we have to write five times a day, they said if we only send three to four, we get punished but not death. They've allowed us to send them whenever, BUT! We can only write each other to each other, we can write up to seven per day. But we at least need five.

I'm not too concerned because well... I love socializing! But the selectors reason for doing this definitely isn't something to love... They do this each year because they're objective is to at least get rid of a two people each year, any state, it won't matter, as long as someone is gone.

They put us in apartments once the game begins but lucky for me, that's not until tomorrow. You used to be able to stay at home but that changed once they began to figure out that people were cheating the system, so now they put us in decent apartments, and the only thing they do is... Allow you to watch tv, they ship food, you get to go outside once a week for five minutes to make calls to home, and we get suits. I'm actually pretty afraid but excited at the same time... Maybe this will bring a change? But I'm beginning to have second thoughts, but there is no going back.

I really hope that 8963 will be good at keeping up with messages, whoever they are, I hope they don't die...

Suddenly an email pops up on my phone, "Immediately enter your pen pals' number in your phone, today you need to get to know each other tomorrow the real game begins." The email said. So as anybody in my position would do, I entered the number in my phone and texted,
"Hi... are you 8963...?"
