The third knock today? I exclaimed in my head.

I open the door, and how unfortunate it's the crazy girl upstairs. "Can I help you...?" I say staring at her with a hint of confusion, I don't really understand why she feels the need to talk to me.

Did they inspect your room?" She replied kind of avoiding what I just asked her. "Yeah... Why?" I looked at her in confusion, wondering why she would ask that question. "Were you cleared?  She asked.

"Yeah, sorry to cut the conversation short, but I have something important to do." I said kind of interrupting her. "Okay.... Bye I guess." She murmured as I closed the door.

I was planning on calling my home because it's been a few days since I've had the chance to talk to them.

I then head over to a little button in my room that sends a request to call my parents.

I press the button and it fades from a purple to a teal, then it speaks. "Someone will be right with you" It yelled out of some built in speaker. Then someone answers. "So you want to call your parents... let's see, your.. Hester Monroe, correct?" The voice stammered I assume questioning if the information was correct.

"Yes." I replied. "Then you may step over to the phone." The voice responded with a case and a phone inside opening it was the older looking phones though.

I then dial my parents number in and I get an answer.

"Hello? Who is this?" My dad said sounding confused
"It's Hester, dad." I giggled a little bit filled with joy. "Really?" My dad exclaimed, I could hear him crying happy tears through the phone. "How are you? Is everything alright?" He asks with some concern in his voice. "Yes, I'm alright dad. I can't be on the call for much longer, but I wanted to check in on Micheal." I confess. "L-let me get him on the phone, MICHEAL! Your brother is on the phone!!" My dad yells trying to get Micheal's attention. Then I hear the phone make a clattering noise "Hester? Is this you?" Micheal uttered into the phone. "Yes bud, I can't stay on much longer though... I only have 1 minute left, but are you doing alright?" I questioned with a concerned tone. "Yes I'm doing alright.. sorry I was kind of out of it the other day." He said, I could hear him crying. "I really miss you." He claimed. "I'll be back home, just wait for me-." Then the phone cuts out as it pulls away from my hand going back into the case and shutting, I then realize I was crying and wipe my tears. I hope he'll be okay by the time I'm back.
