the voice-off and the date

When Nick woke up, Matteo wasn't in bed anymore, so he put on some clothes and went looking for him.

"Matteo?" Nick asked while going downstairs.

"Hey, it's me, Matt, Matteo left like 5 minutes ago, I think he went to see Lola"  Matt explained to Nick, who was standing at the end of the stairs, kinda confused and sleepy.

"Oh" Nick said, with a bit of sadness in his voice. "You already miss him?" Matt asked. "Yeah, a lot" Nick answered, sitting on the couch. "I made cookies, you want one?" Matt offered Nick a plate with a couple of homemade chocolate chip cookies.

"Omg thanks" Nick said, accepting the plate happy.

"Hey Nick, are you awake?" Nick got a text from Matteo. "Oh he just texted me" he told Matt.

"Hey man" he sent. "Yeah, I just woke up, why?" He asked.

"You wanna go grab something to eat? we still have time for breakfast" Matteo texted back. "Omg he invited me to have breakfast somewhere" Nick said to Matt. "Are you gonna accept?" Matt asked.

"Of course" Nick replied happy to Matt.

"Sure, where are you, tho?" Nick texted Matteo. "Doesn't matter, get ready, I'm going home in 5 mins and then we can go somewhere" Matteo explained. Nick showed Matt the chat and went upstairs running to get ready.

He started looking for clothes to wear to breakfast but had no idea what on earth to wear.

He decided to put on boxers since he started finding them comfortable at some point.

He was only wearing his boxers, walking around the room, not knowing what to wear.

Suddenly someone opened the door and instantly closed it.

Matteo was the one who was behind the door, blushing over what he just saw.

"Sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry" he said, several times.

Nick, on the other side of the door, put on the pants he thought about wearing and opened the door.

"Matteo" he said laughing. "Omg I'm so sorry Nick" Matteo said once again, "It's ok, calm down" Nick said, letting Matteo inside the room.

He sat down on the bed, nervous, ashamed, and still blushed. "You ok?" Nick asked while looking for a t-shirt to wear. "Yep" Matteo could barely talk, he couldn't keep his mind calm.

Matteo texted Lola "I JUST SAW HIM IN UNDERWEAR" quickly before Nick got closer to him. 

Matteo put his phone away and looked at the floor, playing with his hands, he didn't want to look at Nick in the eye, he couldn't.

"Matteo," Nick said again. "I'm talking to you" Matteo raised his head and connected his eyes with Nick's, but all he could see was Nick in underwear.

"Sorry" he said after a few seconds. "I'm ready so we're good to go" Nick said.

"Great, let's go"

They came out of the room and headed outside, where they called an Uber and went to a nice place to have breakfast that Matteo had chosen.

"So," Nick talked for the first time in the last 15 minutes, where they didn't talk, not even once. "Is this... a date?"

"Sure," Matteo said, looking at the table like it was the most interesting thing ever.

But we all know what he was thinking about.

"I mean," Matteo continued. "I don't know, whatever" he said playing with his hands.

"You mean that it doesn't have to be a date but it could be?" Nick tried to guess. "Sure, yeah, I just don't what it would mean if it was a date" Matteo explained.

"It doesn't have to mean anything" Nick said. "Sure" Matteo said trying to drop the topic.

"So why didn't you go to uni?" Nick started a new convo. "Oh I just didn't have to go, but I have to go this afternoon" They talked and had a great morning.

Both of them were smiley and happy to be there with each other, even tho they didn't know what the other was feeling, but they had their guesses.

"I had a great time, thanks for inviting me" Nick said as they were coming out of the place. "No worries man, I had a great time too" Matteo replied.

"Can we walk a bit? I like these streets and there's still some people around" Nick suggested. Matteo accepted and they walked for 20 minutes until he got tired and begged Nick to come back. He of course accepted and called an Uber.

As soon as they arrived Matteo went to his room and called Lola, who arrived at the house 5 minutes after the call.

Nick had videos to edit so he spent his day on it.

Lola stayed for lunch, so she and Matteo cooked for everyone, and after that, she went to the hotel and Matteo to uni.

"Matt is so into you I promise his just shy" Matteo texted Lola as soon as the triplets weren't around.

"Yeah and Nick couldn't possibly like you more, why the fuck are you ignoring him again?" Lola texted.
