Ashton's pov:
I didn't get kicked out. Andy agreed to let me live in dauntless, but I have to work as a cook in the kitchens, as long as I kept away from everybody.

I wasn't going the rest of my sorry, kitchen, life without seeing Kayla. After everyone cleared out of the dining hall, I made my way to the initiate dorm.

She was softly asleep on her assigned bed, snoring softly. I hated to wake her up, but I needed to see her. I shook her awake, making her groan in annoyance, until she looked up. She jumped up and hugged me tightly, careful not to wake Aimee up.

Then she takes my hand and leads me to the small bathroom down the hall. I feel her smile against my lips as I bend down to kiss her. I lift her up onto the sink, softly continuing to move my lips against hers. (This is weird to write about because she's my best friend)

Aimee's pov:
I wake up to hear noises down the hall, I toss and turn, smiling at the unknown couple. Then I fall back to sleep as quickly as I had woken.

In the morning me and Kayla hurriedly get up and go to breakfast. We enter and I pile waffles onto my plate, moaning from the sweet smell. Kayla was blushing the whole morning and I instantly knew something happened. "Kayla... Have something to tell me?" I ask with a sly smile.

Maybe another guy? She sure got over Ashton quickly. She started blushing even more than before and ignored the question. But she was bond to answer at one point.

We finish breakfast and head to training. Today we'd be training against our fellow initiates. Yay. Andy seemed on edge, I wondered what happened.

Andys pov:
I watch as Aimee steps up to fight a girl named Melia. I couldn't help but worry for her, she'd get hurt. Aimee quickly dodges the first few punches thrown at her, and I sighed in relief. But the next punch she wasn't as lucky, Melia landed one straight in her gut, sending her spiraling to the mat.

Before she could get up, Melia attacked, kicking her violently, Aimee's nose started bleeding. I run in, telling them to stop, crowning Melia the winner. Luke runs in, taking a passed out Aimee in his arms. He carries her off to the infirmary.

Next up was a boy named Connor, and Kayla. Wonder how this was going to go down....
