Ashton's pov:
I still had zero ideas as to where Kayla was taking me, but I followed along. She suddenly turns, heading towards the room we jumped into the tanks at on the choosing day.She grins, stripping down to her underwear, and sliding into the pool, gesturing me to follow. I smirk and follow her lead, dipping into the cold, tank water.
I swim up to her, she clings onto my wet body. I push her wet hair out of her face, the moonlight glowing through her eyes. I kissed her softly, her wet lips moving against mine.. I watch her swim around, floating on the surface of the water. She was beautiful.
Luke's pov:
We finally made it to the top of the building, I had Aimee blind folded, and I carried her up the stairs. Her complaining the whole way, and laughing as I climbed the whole set of stairs having to carry her. I didn't mind though, seeing her laughing in my arms. It was worth the whole climb.I untied the blindfold, her eyes opening wide, adjusting to the moonlight. I'd taken her to the top of the dauntless building, from here, we could see all of the ruined state of Chicago. The city was silent, along with Aimee. but I had a feeling she loved it.
She looked at me, a new look filled her eyes, wonder, love. I didn't know, but I longed for it. I placed my hands upon her delicate face, kissing her gently. I picked her up, her legs wrapping around my waist. We neared the edge of the cliff, the only thing keeping her from falling were my arms.
She didn't even look up from my eyes, her arms draped around my shoulders, completely lost in my eyes. As I was hers. "I thought you were afraid of heights?" She whispers into my chest. "I feel safe with you, it makes me forget my fears." I whisper back, kissing the top of her head lovingly.
Kayla's pov:
Me and Ashton had dried off, laying under the opening of the buildings, staring up at the stars. "The stars shine, but all I see is you." Ashton laughs cheesily, but I thought it was cute. "Dork." I laugh at his choice of words.I liked going out with Ashton, made me feel excited, thrilled. It gave me a sense of almost energy, like he kept me alive. "I love you." I say, snuggling into his chest. "I love you too, Princess." He kisses my hair, my head resting on his shoulder. And we stayed there. For a long time, until the stars faded away, replaced by clouds.
