Melusine followed Hoseok into the kitchen and stood at the edge of the counter, waiting to be introduced to the man brooding over the dishes in the sink. He cleared his throat and announced, "Melusine wants to talk to you, hyung."
Seokjin glanced up and glared at Hoseok, blinked in surprise and turned his gaze to Melusine, who smiled warmly at him, "May I inspect your broth, sir?" She asked him. Seokjin nodded blankly as he ogled her, temporarily speechless. Moving around the counter to stand over the pot of broth, she inhaled the scent, then grabbed the ladle on the counter and took a sip of the broth, testing it. With a frown she set the ladle to the side and looked at Seokjin directly, informing him succinctly, "You will need to toss this broth. It has unhealthy chemicals in it. You cannot serve it to Felina." Glancing around the kitchen, Melusine walked to the refrigerator and placed her hand on the door, then looked between both men, speaking again, "Do you have organic ingredients? It is not a perfect solution, but it will serve for now."
Snapping out of his apparent trance, Seokjin sauntered over to the refrigerator and pulled it open, "I think so." He stated as he glanced at the woman who looked back at him carefully.
Melusine touched Soekjin's arm lightly, suggesting politely, "May I look for myself?"
Standing to the side, Seokjin nodded dumbly and looked at her hand that had fallen away from his sleeve, "Yes. Go for it. I'm Seokjin, by the way." He announced, almost declaring the rest of this 'title', but stopped himself before doing so.
"You are World Wide Handsome, yes?" She asked him as she looked through the ingredients in the refrigerator and began to pull vegetables and meat out, sniffing it to test its safety and chemical content. She stopped, a bunch of celery in her hand, as she peered at him through her golden lashes, taking a deep scent of the vegetable, waiting for his answer.
Swallowing hard at the look she gave him he slowly nodded, "Yeah. That's the name the fans gave me. Do you know BTS?"
Shaking her head, she put the celery on the counter, then continued to rifle through the contents of the refrigerator once more, "I may have heard of them." She glanced at him, "But it is your band?" She asked, pausing between the last two words as she searched for the word she wanted.
Hoseok, who was leaning with his back against the counter, laughed at the exchange, watching Seokjin, who was totally unnerved by this woman, while the woman was completely in control, certain of her power. It was actually entertaining. Melusine was attractive and appealing to the senses, certainly, but Jin's reaction to her was even more appealing. He crossed his arms over his chest, as he watched the two, almost beaming.
Melusine pulled out carrots and a carton of liver, testing it as she had the other ingredients from the refrigerator. Setting the carrots aside, she returned the carton back and continued to look through the contents inside. Murmuring she stated, "None of this meat will do. Do you have any meat or bones from animals that do not have chemicals in them? Is there a market that will have these things?" She asked, following her statement with a question, as she regarded him.
Seokjin looked back at her, ducking his head for a moment as he considered her question, then lifted his eyes to gaze into hers, "There's a few not too far from here. Do you want me to take you?" He asked somewhat uncertainly.
Hoseok looked surprised at Seokjin's question, interrupting anything the woman may have said, "You can't go out with Melusine, Jin hyung. What if someone sees you?"
Seokjin turned to stare at Hoseok as if writing a thesis inside his own mind, then tossed his hand in the air, dismissing the other man, "I will be careful. I will wear a mask and a hat, or something, and wait in the car, if I have to. I can do that much."
